I think there should be something more than leader/co leader/elder. Maybe the leader can select what each player is capable of doing, e.g. some players have the capabilities of sending invites, some are able to send clan mails e.g. and the leader can also give titles to each player instead of elder co and leader e.g. recruiter
This way different clans can also maintain different originalities,
Any thoughts on this?

I agree, because sometimes I want to give somebody Co-Leader, because I trust them lots, and they've stayed loyal, but I don't really want them sending clan mail because their english isn't the best... So yes, I agree their should be different roles you should be able to allow the Co-Leaders and Elders to fill, but I don't think a name change is necessary. Also, please expand the thread into which names you think SHOULD take over for the current ones.
