How do you save 40k dark elixir for queen?

I am sure this is a common post, but I didn't see it on the first couple pages.

Is it possible to loot your way to 40K elixir? I am stuck at about 28K and keep getting hit with lightning attacks....

Go up in trophies. 1600+ should see a marked decrease in lightning attacks, and the higher the better. People will probably use rage and heroes to smash your storage but at least you get a shield. And when possible, stay online between raids, break shields only when you can be online long enough to farm more DE than you could potentially lose in a raid.

Probably a good idea. Can't find much DE at 1400-1500 where I am now. These DE drills suck.

I'm pretty much maxxed out defenses at th 8 and only 2 days till my th is 9. I currrently h ave 41k DE but its hard to get up that high, consistent raiding a few times a day at least and then make sure you drill is maxxed out. Good luck!

Make ur base that ur dark elixir(same time gold and elixir storages if u want to upgrade other buildings in the progress) ,mortars,crossbow and hidden tesla are only inside ur walls al other defences outside. Now go to 1000-1200 trophies and dont worry if u dont find much dark elixir when attacking because u have ur pumps and in th 9( if I remember right) u have three pumps so that is a minimum of 360 dark elixir a day and if u hav them upgraded even more!+Usually when u will attack u will find th7 peeps saving for barb king with etc.250-1000 dark elixir about some might hav even lower though!

Go to 1600+ trophies and the lightnings will stop, Have long DE farming sessions, to help get your DE drills to level 4+
