In war no one benefits from a tie. How about creating a sudden death match in which each clan is given three additional attacks for a chance to crown a winner? Open to suggestions.

With the base editor you can even create a Sudden death base, where traps, bombs and defenses could be configured differently so the attacker is looking at a fresh base during sudden death round.
Good question. I was thinking the clan as a whole get three attacks to use by whomever. Let the clan decide who faces the opponent. The idea is very much in the infant stage that's why I opened it up for discussion.
The attacks should be assigned for those whose Successful attack rate is more [ In both clans in the present war ]
Example 1: If a player[Clan 1] uses his attacks and wins 5 stars then we need to check the same player [ Clan 2 ] [ With 5 wins and whose Town_Hall level is similar to that of [ Clan 1 Player ]
(Or)
Town_Hall level of player in Clan 1 = Town_Hall level of player in Clan 2 ( or ) Town_Hall level of player in Clan 1 = Town_Hall level of
player in Clan 2 + 1
( or ) Town_Hall level of player in Clan 2 = Town_Hall level of player in Clan 1+ 1 .

some sort of tie breaker options will be good.
So how long will this tiebreaker last for?
Just let leaders of both clans to press Yes for tossing a coin. Will be much faster. And much easier to implement.
But in all seriousness, prolonging clan war is a terrible idea, especially for less than 24 hours, because of time differences. Some clan may happen to have this additional round, when all its co-leaders are sleeping. :-)
Clan War ended in tie already has tons of statistics, we just need to figure out what additional stats, besides total star count, may/should be used for determining a winner. :-)
I am no fan of prolonged clan wars, in fact I had another suggestion for a forfeit option in cases of all-out obliteration. I would impose a time limit on sudden death that would be just long enough to train troops and launch a single attack.

Why not use the average desrtuction percentage as the tie breaker. Finally those 99% one stars could mean something.

No minimum level requirements, just be active.
