    New tactical troop the Serpent! Will revolutionize the way we play Clash of Clans!

    Viper is another name for the troop that may appeal to more people

    So many people complain about how they cannot control troops well this will be the troop that will change everything!

    Summary: The serpent is a very small snake that travels underground. It is very weak with the strength less than of a barb and can be killed very fast and can be killed with one shot by many defenses and takes up about 3 spaces. It has the ability to be set as a way point for any heros. This troop doesn't trigger traps but it can reveal the location of certain traps on its underground journey to its destination aka the desired building to be destroyed.

    Serpents Abilities: To use this troops ability you will need to deploy it then select your hero then select a building if you do not select a hero it will instead attack your chosen building without setting a waypoint. As it it moves underground toward a building to set its waypoint it will leave a small dirt trail to allow you to see it. As it moves underground it will not be located by any traps or defenses since it is out of their sight however if a nearby troop is hit by a mortar or detonates a bomb the serpent can face the damage. While it is underground it will also reveal the position of traps from a 2 tile radius. Once it locates your desired building it will set a beacon next to it and your selected hero will attack it after destroying its initial target however if two waypoints are present it will cease what it is doing and head straight for the chosen building. After setting the waypoint the serpent will move above ground and attack the building where it is vulnerable to defenses. If the building the serpent is attacking is destroyed and it already deployed its waypoint it will only travel above ground and continue attacking other buildings while it is above ground it will not reveal the location of traps. There is only one waypoint per serpent.

    But...

    Why is it so weak and take up so much space?
    It is to make sure people don't take advantage of the troop and just go for loot or town halls without having any defenses fight against them. I believe 3 spaces is good for all the tactical perks this troop comes with.

    Isn't this troop to OP?
    No. I've took every precaution to make sure it isn't too powerful. So nobody would be able to snipe storages town halls or powerful defenses at all.

    Attack Strategies

    Retreating: With this new troop you are now able to make your heros retreat if you don't want them to take too much damage from central defenses like infernos and xbows this is good if you want them to heal, attack something else, etc.

    Farming
    You can snipe enemy resource storages with serpents but its not recommended

    Destroying Traps/ Sacrificing
    Many traps devastate our armies especially wen using hogs and giants where a single giant bomb or spring trap can ruin your entire attack, but now with serpents you can now locate traps and move your hero to destroy traps. This works especially well with spring traps since they do not harm heroes.

    I hope you love my troop idea and I would be so happy if this can be included into the game!

    GREAT IDEA!!! Just needs more detail. Serpent is a odd choice though.

    I thought it would seem to fit the dark barracks I was thinking of it being dark purple kind of like the snake from pokemon

    I don't like the name either, but that is a VERY promising idea!
    So just to get this right, you deploy "The Serpent" and it makes a like for your hero to follow and destroy the designated building?

    9/10 if an idea says it will "revolutionize" CoC, it ends up being bad.

    An idea for a serpent which goes underground and creates a path which can bring heroes directly to the TH if wanted, giving an auto 1-star, DEFINITELY is included in that 9/10.

    No you cannot get an automatic one star you will still need other troops to get to the middle and it doesnt make a path it just diverts the heroes attention to the other building. SO lets say your hero is about to die you have already taken out half the base and it is targeting an air defense but you want that two star win so you use a serpent change the heros target and you get your 2 stars! It doesnt make an underground path to a building if thats what your thinking and the hero will still have to make its way past walls before even targeting the building and it will have to face countless defenses so yea it will STILL revolutionize CoC.

    So you have never seen a video of an AQ 2 starring a base with only healers. By all means, let's make it easier. Besides, CoC involves skill of deploying troops in strategic places. Not just controlling movements.
