You claim you want us to stay on topic but it's pretty hard when you are being utterly disrespectful to everyone who offers an opinion differing from your own. I got news for you, you aren't the smartest guy in the room. Deal with it.

DE Zapping provides balance to the game. It's an inefficient DE farming strategy but it gives TH7s a chance to have a plausible revenge against other higher TH levels. Zapping occurs less and less frequently in the higher leagues. So if you find yourself being zapped (because you are in a lower league bullying lower TH level players) then I suggest moving as high as your ego can take you.

In the meantime. Stop lashing out at everyone. No one was attacking you. You started with the name calling and it's been all downhill for you since then. How can we possibly take you seriously when you act like a child?

You've continued the name-calling, ignored the portion of my post which directly addresses why zapping is not a problem, and you make false assumptions about the people you are talking to (I'm an adult and, most likely, your senior). Since this is an IDEAS and FEATURE REQUEST part of the forum I think, considering there are "sooooo many of these dark elixir/lightening spell posts" that this would be addressed and it's a valid request since I'm not obviously alone. Sorry if I have offended anyone with my attitude. My attitude is a direct reflection of how I beat down little peons and big dorks everyday on CoC in war and in raiding, that's why I have over 1 billion in looted coin and over 600 war stars! *drops mic* *walks off*

This is ruled out meaning Supercell will NOT do anything about it. Even staff has said they have no plans to change it.

*Wizard Laboratory to create/upgrade wizard projectiles/spells
*Add a second laboratory or a second slot in current lab to do two researches at once
*Queue upgrades/builds
*Troop Armor Building. Research upgrades to troop armors/attack/speed, etc.
*Swap buildings – drop one on the other, pop-up or double tap to swap if same size
*Ability to turn on all def building radius circles at once to check coverage
*Trap/Explosives hut to upgrade/build bigger ones
* Lightning Rod to absorb lightning spell

More forumers want these threads to stop appearing than the number of people who want lightning rods.

Whats broken here is stated in the post. If you want my dark why don't you come attack my clan and take it? Not use some lightening spells and lose trophies just to gain 1500 dark. If you dont have the troop strength or troop numbers to take it strategically then you shouldn't be able to take it with lightening spells. If knocking my mortars our with lightening or knocking my air def out with lightening helps you or even finishing off the th then that's great. That's what they are meant for...not meant for a resource gathering tool by low level, low troop, low everything little peons that are lucky enough to stumble across my clan. I get no less than 1500 dark in each raid...that's my rule unless there's ridiculous amounts of coin. You're a new member and probably a townhall 8 I'm guessing or even 7 so you won't understand. Get on my level troll!

It's just another way to loot in a game that is all about looting. Sc doesn't put out a manual stating you must use this type of army to steal this type of loot from other players.

besides maybe they were dropping trophies to go hide in even lower leagues from guys that can steal all their loot and instead of dropping their king on you they dropped their spells......you just never know why.

i zap. I will continue to zap. It's my only recourse in revenge against guys that drop trophies in order to attack lower leveled guys. So they put the hurt on me and I keep lightning spells handy to pinch them back. They happy, then they not so happy. I on the other hand feel quit pleased with myself and will continue to do so. Many times I don't even bother smashing their exposed th just because I don't like them playing in my pond. If I'm regular raiding I don't do that, but revenge I will always do it.

Lol town hall tens should have a preventative measure since it is town hall tens that have to max out their dark troops and heros cost 2,100,000 dark to max them both out. Someday you'll understand when you don't use lightening spells that much because you use other more effective spells when combating max clans and you are doing everything you can to get your heros maxed...truth is you'll probably give up and stop playing before that happens.

Besides I 3 star anyone that hits me with them...just sometimes it's a waste of my time. I've been playing this game for almost 3 years and it has always been my biggest pet peeve. I am close to maxing my heros out, I have max def, I have to have 180,000+ dark in order to get an upgrade which currently, with my drills staying boosted, takes about 8-9 days. It's not cool when you work your butt off to get something upgraded and some TH 9 comes by with 5 level 4 lightening spells and takes 2200 of your hard earned dark elixir away. This takes its toll after you've been hit 5 times. I just had 5700 dark taken away from me in one day (yesterday). I got 2k back in revenge but I can't catch the real culprits. This is a cheap, no strategy, zero skill method of gaining dark elixir. Surely I'm not the only one that sees this as a problem and a flaw in the game. I know all of my clan mates find this ridiculous and so do all of the other humans that I know in person. Just make one more upgrade on the dark elixir storage with part of the perk to handle lightening spells or something, get creative...it's what you do best supercell!

Clash of Clans is a STRATEGY game. Dropping lightning on your dark elixir storage is called dark elixir FARMING STRATEGY. Nothing is broken, nothing needs to be fixed. You're just a grown up little crybaby. Accept it, deal with it, move on about it. 3 years in clash but you're still a noob if you whine with these kind of stuffs. I hope to see your base 10x in a row and I will drop 5 maxed lightning spells each time.
