My suggest is to decrease the damage of lighting speel on DE Storage. Like Wall breaker have (x40) on walls Lighting spell should have x0,5 on De storage.
Each time i try to collect some dark Elisir this is my defense log:
As you can see every time I broke shield they stole me over 3k dark elisir without getting Shield.

0,5 is a point on a quadratic plane. It would mean 5 basically. So yes I agree x5 damage from lightning spells to dark elixir.
Four lightning spells per attack means TH9 raiders, all in the 800-1000 trophy range.
If this is the company you choose to keep, you can expect to keep getting hit by lightning attacks.
However, I do appreciate your post, as it illustrates that the players who tend to complain about lightning attacks are hiding in very low-level leagues.
DE Zapping is inefficient. If you don't like it, you can revenge them or go up to Crystal +.
I've been in Crystal for a while, and I've never been zapped up here.
