Thread: Spells should not be able to grab resources...

    Spells should not be able to grab resources...

    This is not a request for a shield or to be able to stop Spell casting.
    I get it. Its part of the game.
    My change suggestion is simple.

    A spell does not have arms to carry stuff away. A spell should not be able to "get" resources unless there was some kind of resource grab spell. But there is not.

    Lightning should only cause hit point damage to any kind of building as it currently does. Simple

    A player should not be able to receive resources by simply casting a spell.
    Heal your troops. Rage your troops. Weaken or break some buildings. Jump stuff. Freeze stuff. That's what they are supposed to do.

    This way attacking armies actually have to hit the resources/storage buildings with troops to get the resources.

    That seems more logical.

    And troops magically spawning is TOTALLY logical

    Spells don't have resource taking abilities, a single spell does.

    How much DE can be looted with lightning spells?

    I have maxxed my heroes, so I took a trip down to silver to see how bad the lightning issue is, my DE storage started at 165k in farming formation and has been dutifully emptied to 102k in trophy formation! On the positive side, my successful defending has gone above 1000 (couldn't get that right in champion league now hey?), maybe I can stay here and defend to 5000 for 100 gems!

    Chill out, the lightning zappers lose 30 minutes per spell, a very inefficient DE raiding strategy, just stay out of silver and gold league if you don't like being ripped off this way.

    Troops do have arms to carry loot away... and yet they still don't. They destroy the storage and the loot magically goes to your storages.
