First: lets start of with the most logic part of my ideas:
[1] When a balloon dies, they do splash damage, which causes motion on the ground.
When troops come too close to (make motion near) a trap, the trap does his thing.
Conclusion: when a balloon crashes, a trap in the radius of the splash would activate.
Now, to buff this -or just another addition:
[2] Set a timer on traps. You could place it on like 50% of your traps, and it would work like this:
Par example: someone attacks you with giant-healer. He places his wall breakers and they run right into your giant bomb (which has a timer on it) and the bomb doesn't explode untill the 5 seconds pass, in that time he probably places his giants, and they will take all the damage of the GB.
Another example of how it would affect players in champions:
someone attacks you with GoWiWi. The attacks goes on and the golems stand in your GB (with timer), the bomb doesn't explode on them , but after the 5 seconds the witches will be nearby the GB, which explodes and kills the witches.
To nerf my idea of the balloons: the traps with a timer on it woun't explode from the splash damage from crashing balloons.
