    Roulette Wars!

Can we have this feature, in which we can go on wars with 5-50 other random people (ie, outside our clan, and of our own level? That would be brilliant, IMO.

    Xerxes.

I was asked by Uthrac to provide more details into the war. I will be answering them overnight here.

    1. How to handle CC donations.

According to me, a separate chatbox for the sole purpose of communicating to other members you've been matched up with, ie, a roulette chatbox, a chatbox similar to a clan chatroom where people can discuss their strategies and pick a base they may wish to attack can be added. However, the troops you use in the war must be requested from your clan. (However, if you aren't in a clan, you may request for troops during battle day from the roulette chatbox). You may specify languages you are fluent with in the settings sections to clear any further communication problems.

    2. Scouting Bases?

A separate icon can be made for roulette wars, similar to clan wars, where you can view bases you can view friendly bases you've been matched up with, and scout enemy bases as well. You can also visit friendlies and provide them with troops. You may even scout your enemies and plan your tactics.

    3.Chat/Planning?

    Refer to answer 1.

    4.Donating troops to attack?

    Refer to answer 1.

    How it will work?

Well, a new icon can be added along with the clan wars icon, for the sole purpose if roulette wars. Wars can be classified into three types.

    -Balanced.

A type of war in which number of th1-10 bases are the same. Example, let's say we go for a 10v10 war. You will find that there's 1 th1, 1 th2, 1 th3, you get the drill.

    -Similar

A type of war in which every opponent you face has a similar th level and is as strong as you. (For the rushers problem, the level of the player can be seen)

Now, if you wish to participate in a roulette war, you may click the icon, and BAM! A new war search will begin.

Once we get all our war members, the roulette war icon gets active, and you may scout your friendly bases and your opponents bases. You can also provide them with troops for defense.

The roulette war can be made similar to the clan war, with the donation exception for clan-less persons.

    ADVANTAGES

    -Great Alternative to clan wars

(This is because clan wars tend to get extremely imbalanced at times, due to matchmaking system failing at finding opponents of equal strength. Also, you don't have to live with the people exiting your clan during a war)

-Clan-less people get to have the fun of a war similar to a clan war.

    (Explains itself)

-Another way of finding great clans, recruiting good players for your clan, or even making new ones.

    (explains itself)

-Great way of making friends on CoC

(Note: I do understand that CoC has tried to make the game as child friendly as possible by not making it possible to PM people, the absence of proper violence, etc, but truth be told, I have made quite a bit of friends through global and clans.)

    DISADVANTAGES.

-People speaking certain languages may find it hard to get matchups. (Possible disadvantage)

-You wouldn't know if someone will attack or not, and this can mess up the war.

(possible solution: A track record of the number of times a person has taken part in, but not attacked in a roulette war can be added to a persons profile. If a person hasn't attacked for more than 5 r-wars, a certain cool down timer may be implemented on the persons account)

    That's it folks!

    (Apologies for my terrible language)

    To clarify ...

    1. Players sign up for Roulette.
    2. Once 100 players sign up, they are evenly divided into two comparable teams to battle each other in 50v50 war.
    3. Brilliant fun!

    Questions:

    1. How do you handle war cc donations?
    2. Scouting friendly bases?
    3. Chat/planning?
    4. Donating troops to attack ... especially for players not in a clan?

I think you need to provide a lot more details on the logistics of this random mis-matched war before it can be considered a full idea.

    I'll be working on it.
