    CLAN XP attached to players

When a clan earns war experience, that experience should be attached to the current players in the clan. If a player leaves/rejoins the clan, the associated experience would be added/subtracted.

Each player would have individual experience with each clan they've maintained contact with. To avoid tracking endless numbers of clans for players who like to hop around, each player would carry experience from the 3 clans they've spent the most time/energy with. Only the experience earned from the clan you are in would count toward the clan's total experience.

Currently, all of a clans experience resides within the leader of the clan, which doesn't make sense. The leader is only a single member of the group. If all of the members of a clan should leave, then that clan should also lose it's experience.

    No.

Many reasons, but most importantly Clan XP are earned by the clan, not by individual members of the clan.

Very often, the amount of XP any given player contributes towards the clan’s earnings is dependent on Leadership targeting and timing instructions.

i don't think its good idea. it look like you are in a clan that you don't trust or really want to leave but you put to much effort in it now. Just create your own clan and you will see that xp shouldn't be attached to players cause not all players participating in CW for stars they just get 1 star for loot and for 1 star you do get full xp for that village .

Terrible idea. XP is earned by "CLAN" wars - not Individual wars. We win or lose as a clan.
    I got nothing

This is EXACTLY why I believe individuals should hold the experience. It is the sum of the parts that make the clan. If one player were to leave the clan, the experience would be affected very little. If half the members were to leave, the clan would lose half it's built up experience, as it should.

This has nothing to do with my own clan. We have a solid war clan with most members loyal for months.

However, I do feel my own clan should have an edge over a clan who can't maintain membership.

Did you actually understand my post ?

The member’s contribution is earned by the clan, often at the instruction of Leadership. This is at odds with your initial post so it’s hard to imagine how it can support your argument.

Your arithmetic is at fault if you think that 50% of a clan’s membership contribute 50% of a clan’s experience.

It's Clash of Clans, not Bioshock's Rapture. :-)

Then let this be an equation: members (1 point) + elders (2 points) + coleaders (3 points) + leader (4 points).
    Clan war win 200 points
numbers of members: 10 (20 points)
numbers of elders: 20 (40 points)
number of coleaders: 4 (12 points)
    leader:1 (4 points)
    total points: 76 points
20 divided by 76: members split 26% of points (each member gets 5.2 xp points)
40 divided by 76: elders split 53% of points ( each elder gets 5.3 xp points)
12 divided by 76: coleaders split 16% of points (each coleader gets 8 xp points)
4 divided by 76: leader gets 5% of points (leader gets 10 xp points)

My math is hasty, but this is just an example. Each member still carries some of the clan EXP with them. If a member leaves, it would affect the clan less than if a coleader left.
