My biggest mistake is seeing a base I want to hit, dropping troops toward the bottom right corner and hitting next.
Been there done that, few of those were really excellent loot to, I was so upset I didn't raid again for like 2 hours.

BTW, I never actually noticed the game shake either. I know it is suppose to now and still can't seem to catch it, guess am use to it

    agreed

it is annoying and I wish it was not in the game for sure...i mean why not have the screen shaking when wizard towers are killing troops? supercell always does weird and useless things I guess.

I suppose if a mortar lands near your house,I presume the house wouldn't shake?

Great post...lets talk about immortal beings now because thats real life right? Its annoying period, the game doesn't need it. But do go on about how the game should be more realistic...hey maybe they will put in night time just for you :-)

the problem for me is only visual effect.

confusing to understand whats going on, if your troops are dying or not, specially from small screen like iphone and general smartphones.

I never really noticed it, though I did realize it shook.

    Doesn't bother me

Probably your hands were shaking for too much w@nking! Hahaha...

I think you switched on the vibration mode on your device so your device vibrates when the screen was shaking due to mortar attacks. That add more shaking effect that potentially alters your finger gestures for deploying troops.
