I agree with jbjedimaster.... certainly this could be managed in spreadsheets, etc... but who wants to do that. Many of us play on our phones.... managing this in chat (which can disappear before a user logs on) or a spreadsheet / note is nothing but a pain.
Setting someone's Clan Wars status to Opt Out has nothing to do with privacy.
