Crashes since new update

I have a 64GB ipod 4th gen, iOS 6.1.6, free space starting at 30GB and now over 48GB free. After update, the farm would load for a couple seconds to maybe 30 seconds before crashing. I was able to contact support through daughter's ipod 4th gen, same iOS but a 16GB. Both are used on the same WiFi and her ipod is older than mine. Hers crashes somewhat but not like mine. I was given all of the steps listed here (uninstalling and reinstalling does not lose farm or progress). I did all of them several times in the order given and in a little different order and deleting the data causes the farm to now never load.

I even went to the extreme (being a former Apple Technical support person for a year) and backed up my ipod, putting it into recovery mode, reinstall the iOS and restore backup. Again, still crashing and farm no longer loads at all.

Obviously, there is something in this update hosing all of us. I am on level 129 and my daughter on level 51. We have different apps on our ipods but the settings are the same.

Please help!!!

Also, there is more and more customer reviews on iTunes (sort by most recent) of numerous players with the same issue although, oddly, some give high stars but their game is crashing. Just saying...

To update on the above: I'm still getting a bit of lag (opening newspaper, visiting farms and such), but I've noticed a huge improvement wrt crashing

Well I've managed a whole 20 seconds of extremely slow play, a new record since the update, so if this is an improvement I'm off to play another similar game which has no such problems. Virtually every time there is a update there are problems. A couple of updates ago the game continued crashing for a fortnight. Much as I love this game life is too short to sit around waiting. Yes patience is a virtue, but at times this along with loyalty are exploited. I've missed the derby deadlines and several boats. There are lots of us on older machines(yes Iknow some newer machines have reported problems) who are dumped after years of playing or are improperly catered for. Many have paid to play and sometimes it seems to be buy another machine or go away attitude.

My issue is with the Andoid Hayday app on my phone. The update installed fine but I can only open the app once without rebooting my phone. When it restarts, I get the opening Supercell screen and then the game connects and loads. But if I close the app, and then try to reopen it, it sticks on the connecting screen and never loads. Until I shut the whole thing down. I have ample free space and memory. I've even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it with no change.

ive had no issues on my iPad, but can't carry that everywhere with me 😱

HelpiOS 5.1.1 crashes after loading

Same here. Since i installed the latest update, my iphone 3gS crashes while using the game, opening it, visiting neighbours or whatso ever. When i re-open the game, the game freezes or i have to restart my device because it freezes totally. The ios i'm using is 6.1.6 and that ought to be enough, due to the information i can find in the apple store when i open hayday. But still, it doesn't work. Is there a solution for this problem? I miss playing and my neighbourhood is getting crancky...

Hi, I just want to add this
My niece plays on an I pod touch 16gb with 7.1gb of free space on Ios 6.1.6.

She got to open her farm once after she did the update, it went unusually slow and since then it keeps crashing.
It will come up with the super cell screen, then the connecting bar, it will change from connecting to loading and then when the bar gets to the end, the screen goes black and closes.

I went through the steps listed previously in this post but it didnt fix it.

On my daughter's iPod, I found that repeatedly hitting the hay day icon after crashing seemed to eventually get her to the place it worked although it crashes after 10-15 minutes of play. At least she can play. I did the same thing on mine originally but never got more than a minute of play. All of the new animations would slow the game to a crawl then crash.

I am the one who reinstalled my iOS 6.1.6 on my iPod 4th gen 64gb yesterday. Decided to try that last night. After 6 or 7 crashes without seeing my farm, I got the massive clouds for the birthday event but as the paper slowly floated into view, it crashed. Now, if I keep hitting hay day, nothing else is running on iPod, not even gamecenter, every 2, 3, 4 times, I will get the new event clouds and can see my farm and my level 129 but somewhere in the middle of the paper coming toward the front of the screen, it crashes. Maybe this helps narrow down the problem? Maybe it has to do with all the new animations?

Starting to think they just don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about those of us that are crashing. I mean there was maintance for the simple things yet not a big issue like crashing. At first I thought it was me then go to Facebook and find I am not alone and come here and see that there are plenty having the issue. I have an older iPad original even and I haven't really had hayday issues like this yet. Last few weeks it would freeze up when first loading farm but then would move, but the crashing is well simply I want to just give up. Why have an app that simply does not work anymore. I am disappointed that they can say they didn't know of a issue when all they had to do was look here. Would be nice to know if they will fix it or say screw you.
