Revenge Roulette - REVENGE IS MINE!!! BWA HA HA HA!!!
WE LOVE REVENGE!
The revenge feature is a great way to keep the interpersonal action between players alive. Someone takes a chunk of the loot you have been trying very hard to save. You feel like the angry COC barbarian looks. You take sight on your enemy and attempt to devastate his base, regardless of the cost to your wealth stores.... LOL!
I love the revenge feature! And the Liam Neeson commercial... Awesome! It epitomizes the average Clasher when he sees his newly designed base run over by a team of giants or his full DE storage zapped by 3 lightning spells!
That said, getting your revenge has lost its appeal - finding an available revenge opponent can be tedious and boring; too many players in the defense log are either logged in or have a shield.
I propose adding a second revenge feature to the current one. Here is an idea that will add a new a exciting element for all players:
REVENGE ROULETTE: Players pay a fee (i.e. 50K gold) for an opportunity to attack a random revenge opponent from the defense log. After the random opponent is generated , the player chooses whether or not to attack, YES or NO. If the player chooses NO, the revenge opportunity is forfeited, along with the 50K gold. Should the player choose 'YES, I want revenge!' (this is where it gets fun), the selected opponent is queued up for attack. The revenge occurs immediately, so long as the opponent is not in active battle, regardless of whether they are logged in to the game or not. Regardless of shield status.
- If the selected opponent is in battle, the revenge occurs immediately when his attack is finished.
- If logged in, the selected opponent would get a brief informative message: 'Uh oh, that guy you attacked 10 minutes ago pulled your number, and he looks pretty angry!' The selected opponent gets to watch the live replay.
- If a shield is present, the selected opponent's village is reset for the revenge attack, but the shield time remains unchanged.
This is a rewarding and exciting new element to an already epic game!
1. there's an element of chance (you never know which random opponent you get the opportunity to smash) -
2. its a fresh new angle on the revenge feature
3. it's oh so rewarding when you say, "You attacked the wrong guy, punk!"
So wait, you pay 50k, just to revenge someone, when you could just click that handy dandy "revenge" button. Also, shields are meant to be SHIELDS, not bypassed by a stupid feature. Either I don't understand, or this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed
