Hang on there. I gemmed my pony when it first came out. I don't see why you should just get a pony when I had to earn mine working in a coal mine. Geez, kids these days.

Unfortunately, there's people who are brainwashed by our capitalist society, and think that the sole purpose of everything is to make money. You really are a "wretchedhorror"...

Supercell has made BILLIONS of dollars. Their development team is a mere handful of people. Yet you think they would be spoiling us by giving the people what they clearly want.

In reality, it is us, the players, who is spoiling them by allowing them to profit so ludicrously, while they continue to neglect a tiny and trivial request that would improve the game greatly for all players.
Lol, I don't think you know what business is. Supercell is here to make a profit, not give us everything we want.

And how many times must I say this, adding/implementing an idea into the game is programming, money has ABSOLUTELY NO PLACE in programming. Sure, you can spend money to make your upgrade go faster, but no matter how much money you throw at your computer, you cannot make a change automatically program itself. Adding something takes work and time. Sure, they are a multi-billion dollar company, but does that mean they can magically press a button to give us what we want?

Now I agree that the game definitely needs something exciting now. I just wanted to get "Money = More content" idea out of the way.

Thank you and have a good day

Like I said, this company makes millions every day. The initial cost to implement such a minor change is miniscule compared to the profits theyre making. As far as video games go, this one is very low tech, its not gonna cost a lot to change itl

The real cost of changing it is the money theyll lose from people not having to gem their heroes.

That's a huge amount. A major amount of thier revenue is gemming heroes.

Honestly this would be a terrible idea. If I ran SC I'd make it against the company rules to ever discuss this.

Sure the initial cost is low, what's not low is the amount of work and time needed to do this. Try programming yourself once.

I understand what do you mean to say mate. But SC earns a lot from other things. What I mean to say is that nowadays I don't think many people would be interested in gemming their heroes. The earning of SC won't drown if they just do this one little thing. There are lots of other ways through with SC earns money. They should make their customers more happy and the game more interesting!

There are many players who have made sacrifices to upgrade their heroes.

And, they should be allowed to enjoy the advantage that those sacrifices have bought them.

Imagine the dude who, on the day he maxes his heroes is greeted with an announcement that NOW... everyone else gets to use their heroes in war while upgrading.

Also consider that as it stands, we are presented with that dilemma: Do we upgrade... Or do we use them in war

You allow both, and you really dumb down the decision making process in the game: Everyone will just have their heroes upgrading 24/7.

So, no... I do not want to use upgrading heroes in war.
♥♥♥♥ like how the cost to rebuild the clan castle was hugely reduced, I hated that update (used to be 40K, now it's 10K, just so you know)

I'm fine with the unavailability of the heroes when theyre being upgraded, what I'm not fine is the duration for 5 or 10+, maybe? Like, 1 week for 1 level, plus another few weeks for de heist, PLUS another week for upgrading, PLUS you have to deal with two heroes. That's just a pain in the butt, man. Might as well turn them to 4 or 5 days.

You dont know how easy it is to program, kiddo.
It may be little, but that doesn't mean it's easy.
You think it's just putting codes? No, they have to run a series of tests and experience bugs and crashes just to loose more money and make people satisfied.

Pausing is a good idea tho, but it'll take upgrading more time since you keep pausing it for every attack. Might even reach 2 weeks just for a level up due to pausing.

They still do make a significant amount from hero gemming. What I'm saying is that if SC implemented this, they would lose lots, too much, to the point where they remove it.

Remember, every percent lost is bad for the company, and a large percentage is from gemming heroes.

And also what this guy said:
