It would definitely get a lot more more people to play with the new Windows Phones. And you know what that means, people buy more gems.
And people would be able to get CoC on Windows laptops, desktops, and tablets.

Don't use it. It's against the Terms of Service.
The terms of service prohibit playing any Supercell Games on an unsupported device, like a PC or Laptop.
That being said, if Supercell actually looked into it and seriously tried to ban all the accounts using it to play SC games, they're going to be at it for a few days.
To slowly eliminate the usage of "BLUE SOCKS" just to play CoC on a personal computer or laptop, SUPERCELL should consider developing a version for Windows ecosystem, because in the future, Windows will slowly eat up competitions once Windows 10 (and latest versions of Windows OS for portable devices) is released. The Windows ecosystem will gain more attention and market share.
If I were a SUPERCELL top honcho, I would invest for Windows version of the game, as in right NOW.
Oh I forgot... For iOS ecosystem too! (Mac users)
