Intro:
Yes it has been suggested time and time again by hundreds of different forumers with hundreds of different threads, some long and detailed, some just poorly edited one sentence threads. Within this thread, I aim to put in more detail than any other thread about a Goblin King than any other forumer has before. This will be a long thread but please take the time to read it.
The Problem:
There is a severe lack of something to do to keep clashes busy when all of their builders are busy and they have full storages. SC originally tackled this problem by adding the campaign map, which is also used to practice different army compositions. However, after 10 or so of the campaign maps have been beaten, most people give up and go back to raiding normally, those who persevere and beat Sherbert Towers will blow through the 800k loot bonuses within a couple of upgrades. My point being that their isn't enough reward or motivation to complete the campaign. Something that flashers can work to whilst they are bored waiting for upgrades.
The Solution:
Once the Goblin Campaign is completed, as an extra reward you could be given the Goblin King. He would contribute to your armies and help a lot out with farming! Due to the fact that he can be obtained at any town hall level (bearing in mind that that town hall level will have the skill and army to beat Sherbert Towers making it unlikely for town hall 6 and under to obtain it) it would mean clashers would continually be working towards knocking down as many goblin bases as possible to get the King as soon as possible.
Won't an extra Hero be too OP?
Using them all together would be, how are you supposed to defend against 3 heroes? I have devised a very simple way around it. Here is the back story:
"Due to his fellow heroes' mistrust of him, the Barbarian King and Archer Queen refuse to raid along side the Goblin King. To keep him contained while the chief (you) is offline he will be kept inside a dungeon unable to defend the base. He may only be used on his own when you deploy him."
Now this may make the Goblin King seem useless based on the fact that he was unable to be paired up with other heroes but he has his advantagesHe has an incredible special ability where he summons 20 Goblins (the same level as your own lab goblins) and their damage to resources is tripled instead of doubled. This does seem OP so the duration of the ability will be shorter than the Barbarian King and Archer Queen's abilities and the Goblin King may not be upgraded to improve his ability.
