Hey Ash, just wanted to thank you for the tutorial and videos. I'm a maxed out TH9 working on hero's and walls and you're tactics have had them upgrading constantly since level 10. My BK is 17 and Queen is 16 currently. I've currently opted out of war until they get to 20 where I'll just have one upgrading at a time.

After the summer 2015 update I had a hard time finding good bases to BAM down in silver. I've climbed to gold using GiBarch + Wizards to raid storages and have been doing pretty well, but the army takes way longer to train and drains my elixer way faster.

Any suggestions? Should I push to Masters and farm the loot bonus? Should I wait until update mania dies down and I can return to BAM'ing silver?

Loot isn't so great right now in Silver as I can hardly find any dead bases right now. But you can try raiding both storages and collector bases with GiBAM or GiBarch. Take a look at this 1 hour live session of me farming in Silver with GiBAM: https://youtu.be/ps8Fq3QIjt4

same problem im running into, seeing alot of bases with full storages but with basic bam searching for dead collector bases i can't go after them. Going to switch gears and go gibam.

takes not so long to farm maybe because of that when they dont change it i stop playing this game..

Anything else we may need to know: I have a bias for using loonions (sometimes lavaloonions) for farming. Im currently in masters 1 coming from champs. Barely stayed at champs. Would need to use almost 5 spells to win.

It looks like farming with Balloonion would probably be the best option for you. Farming in Champs will be inefficient because as you said, you'll need 5 spells while it takes less than an hour to cook a Balloonion army. I would suggest moving down to Master 2 or 3 if you find Master 1 still challenging. Last time I farmed at Master 1 (but with Barch), it was still challenging with a lot of high level defense bases and I spent a lot of time searching for the right base.

Hello there, Ash! It's me, a guys from Kazakhstan. Now I am exactly 1 month in th8 and I have been using your advice in farming. I believe I am doing a good job, sometimes I play hardcore, sommetimes I play casual, also I am doing wars often so I'm not farming all the time. If I am playing superefficien, I do approximately 2-2.2 million gold per hour without boosting my barracs(I am not considerning elixir since I am th8). Here are the screens. Thanks for the tips again!
