Currently sitting at 163/250 Lavas, and 24 AQ/20 BK. I hope to be at least 25/25 before moving on to TH10 after these walls finish. Max heroes would be great, but not going to waste time at TH9 letting my gold/elixir build up.

Moved up to Master 3 yesterday and have been trying to focus on DE for a while.

I like requesting for 1 Barbarian and 4 Archers. This way you get a good ratio, for example if you have a level 5 Clan Castle, you can hold 6 Barbarians and 24 Archers. The Barbarians will act as shield while you have 24 Archer to deal damage. Minions and Wizards are also great. For DE, I like requesting Minions or Wizards. Minions are excellent as a last resort option if your Barbarians and Archers failed to get the DE Storage.

Other great options for DE farming with BAM is Balloons in CC. Use the Balloons to distract and remove defenses in the way to send in Minions and Barch to steal the DE Storage. Of course Balloons take a while to cook, so they're optional. For GiBarch, extra Giants for CC help a lot. Hog Riders are also excellent as you can use them to clear up defenses or break a funnel for your Giants to go straight in.

If you're not boosting and play in long sessions, then you would be in category 9A.

9A = For a good balance of all resources, you sohuld be farming in Gold 1 or GOld 2. Since you don't have your Archer Queen, it won't be as easy to 50% bases so Gold 1 and 2 are perfect for finding loot (an ample number of TH8s) without concerning yourself with winning. And since you're not boosting and playing in long sessions, BAM is the perfect army composition for you as it will be the fastest way for you to get an army quickly. Limit 20 Minions to maximize DE profit.

If you're boosting 2 Barracks, then you can start using GiBarch and move down to Silver League. There you will find loads of rushed bases with weak splash defenses so you can target Storage bases. Since you're boosting, you'll have an army fast, so it's best to attack both collector/dead and storage bases instead of searching too long for dead/collector bases. You'll make more loot in the long run this way.
