Hi Ash there are some mistakes there as TH8 with level 5 troops have level 4 minions which cost 9 DE,
and TH9 with level 6 troops have level 5 minions which cost 10 DE.

I hope you guys liked my previous farm video where I made 5 million in 1 hr with GiBAM and 4 Barracks boosted. However, personally, I rarely ever boost 4 barracks (unless I'm streaming or desperately in need of fast loot). I usually prefer boosting only 2 barracks as I can make loot almost just as fast and save a bunch of gems in the long term. In this new video, I share how I farm with 2 boosted Barracks with my favorite and most efficient farming method:

I get asked this question a lot and I usually answer by stating that it’s random, even though I knew there was some sort of pattern between it. I just lacked an explanation for it. Luckily, I found this tool (thanks to one of my clan mates) that will help you predict the best times to farm, when there’s a lot of loot. I’ve been testing it for a while in the past few weeks and from my experience using this tool, I can say that it’s pretty accurate. Especially when it shows droughts (red). The greener and higher the graph for “Loot Available” is, the more loot there is out there, the redder it is, the less.
The “Current Loot Index” number gives you an estimate of how good loot is. If it’s 5.0, then loot is decent. If it’s above 5.0, then there’s more loot available than normal. If it’s under 3.0, then it’s not a very good time. However, even if the loot index is at its lowest, 1.0, it doesn’t mean there loot is nonexistent. It just means that it will take you longer than usual to find good bases to attack.
Is this tool 100% accurate? No, but it’s pretty accurate. Many times I’ve found that the estimation is off by 30 to 60 minutes. Which means that if it shows that loot will be excellent in 3 hours from now, it could actually be excellent 2 hours from now. And that makes sense because it’s impossible to really predict when most people are going to be offline with dead bases. This tool does a great job though, and I use it frequently to check whether if it’s a good time for to boost my barracks or decide the best times to farm in the day if I have other things to do. I would really recommend this tool to everyone, and would also like to give a big thanks to the creator of the tool as well.

Usually the best times to farm are:

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST (GMT -5:00)
8:00 PM - 11:00 PM EST (GMT -5:00)
3:00 AM - 5:00 AM (GMT -5:00) *BEST*

The worst times to farm are:

7:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST (GMT -5:00)

Hello Ash, great advices for a future awesome guide from you again !

I usually farm with BAM with 2 boosted barracks, most of the time without heroes as I'm trying to upgrade both as soon as possible.
As a TH10, I have farmed enough in Silver 3/2 to say that loot is:
- good when getting 4m of each ressources in 2h
- average when getting 3m of each ressources in 2h
- bad when getting 2m of each ressources in 2h
Troops & search costs included.

I'm struggling to farm more than that with BAM. Sometimes I have to leave ~100k of each ressources in storages because I can't get inside with BAM without heroes. Troops are ~80 barbarian 6, ~100 archers 7 & 20 minions 4, with 3 rages 5 & 2 heal 1 but I don't use them often.


I've also found out about Clash of Clans Forecaster 1 week ago, and while it's accurate about bad time, I've found it less accurate about good time. Well, it's still an useful tool to use.
