Great stuff... That's a couple of the harder ones off your list... But looking at your "what's left" list makes me think you might be a few more months yet...?? lol. Put your info up on the "All 90 fishing awards" thread, and I'll add you to the list of (nearly) completed... If you only have four left, you are right up there with some of the best.. Haha thanks John, but while I've caught 26 of the 33 types of fish, I'm still a ways off from catching one of each weight. I think I only have like 61 fish in total, so it will likely be a few months (at least) before I join the illustrious 90 fish group!

lol. Ok, fairy nuff... I finally managed to get the one of every type a few weeks ago, and seem to have been stuck on the last 11 for months on end... Like a lot of people, those last few are proving to be very difficult to get... One day....

I used blue lures for gold, silver, and bronze for the salmon and green only for gold, silver, and bronze for the brook trout in area 8.
Only 2 fish bite in area 3 on a small blue lure and its a huge difference. The smelt and the yellow bass. The yellow bass rarely gives a fight as you already know so go get those smelts.
My favorite fish fights were the bitterling and speckled dace at area 6 but since I don't need them now I only go there to try a purple lure for a sauger or asp. Sometimes I think these medium size lures are harder not because of the fish fight rather its the chance of another fish biting the lure and I wasted another. At least with the rare fish I can let go if I think a Rudd or greater Redhorse is on.
The golden trout isn't that hard of a fight comparing it to the other rares but its pretty darn rare to show up.
I wish someone would reply back with the best area for gold medal size asp and sauger. I never have an extra purple lure since going for the sauger and asp. Lol. Areas 1 and 6 so far are my best spots for the asp and sauger, if you know a better spot, please tell.
Im also trying to hold onto lures for the 4 new fish. I noticed all 4 colors are the primary and secondary lure color in the fish book so at least supercell spread them out.
whats funny to me is I when I got to 80 of 90 fish I thought it would go fast since I was getting so close but now its dragging on just like feeding the coffee kiosk to complete that mastery, it seems never ending.
Now today we have even more mastery's to complete.
I almost forgot to ask you. I'm sure you did your revives with the trees and bushes with your misses but I noticed last week that I haven't worked on mine for a few months since trying to get these rare fish. I know you are going to plant some olive trees so I'm asking for you to extend an olive branch and help me out. Hehe get it, olive branch. I crack myself up when I'm this tired.

Thanks for that salmon info, I needed that, as I am sick of getting bronze and silver awards for this one.. Now I know it's definitely all blues, at least I won't waste any purple lures... The other info is very useful as well...
Like yourself, I also need the gold Asp, so will post it up as soon as I know...?? I have all the Saugers, but it's yet another of those all areas fish, but they require blue and purple lures... The only helpful thing is the medium inner circle...

I like but now mytacle box is gill with lobster tackle so now I can't fish. What can I do to correct this?
Not quite sure what you mean, but can't you just put lobster nets into the water to catch lobsters...?? This will make room in your tackle box for you to make some lures then...

Thats to bad about the saugers. I was hoping you had a favorite fishing hole. Every time I use a blue lure for the sauger, a fallfish steals it. Purple lures work great but I never have any in stock.

Oh wow, it does too!Everyone should check fishing scrap book, it gives pretty clear hints where to fish and type of lure to get certain type of fish
