Someone needs to just do a stitched photo of the entire fishing area and label each location with a number..

I'd do this myself if I had such app

You may use this info or not, but you should be aware that if you don't add this info, some of the entries regarding area will be misleading, because you only list one area where many fish can be caught in many areas. I won't mention LURE info as we already know those!

    The areas I list are:
Pier: By the house, upper shallow water area. (Shallow water fishing area - Hut)
Lillies: Upper reed area. (Reed fishing area - log)
Waterfall: Lower reed area. (Reed fishing area - waterfall)
Rocky: Lower left rocky area. (Rocky fishing area - log)
Deep Water: Left deep water area. (Deep water fishing area - island)
Wreckage: Right deep water area. (Deep water fishing area - Shipwreck)
Shallow Water: Lower shallow water area (in the centre). (Shallow water fishing area - Barrel)
Rapids: Rocky area upper right. (Rocky fishing area - Rapids)

    • Brook Trout: Rapids.
    • Coho Salmon: Lillies.
    • Grass Carp: Lillies.
    • Largemouth Bass (large spot): Waterfall.
    • Northern Pike (large spot): Pier, Lillies, Waterfall, Rocky, Wreckage, Rapids.
    • Northern Studfish (medium spot): Pier, Waterfall, Rocky, Wreckage.
    • Rainbow Fish (medium spot): Pier, Rocky, Deep Water, Shallow Water, Rapids.
    • Roach (large spot): Waterfall, Deep Water, Wreckage, Rapids.
    • Rudd (small spot): Pier, Waterfall, Rocky, Deep Water, Wreckage, Shallow Water, Rapids.
    • Shadow Bass (large spot): Pier, Waterfall, Deep Water, Wreckage, Shallow Water, Rapids.
    • Spotted Sunfish (medium spot): Lillies, Waterfall, Deep Water, Shallow Water.
    • Yellow Perch (large spot): Pier, Lillies, Waterfall, Shallow Water.

Hmm, maybe it would be more easy to get an overview if I gave them numbers.
Hi Alcibiades, what I have done here is shown my names for the different fishing areas next to yours in bold, as you can see my areas are named according to the specified names which are actually used in the game, and not lower left, lower right, etc, and all eight areas are covered...

The following information you list for the specific fish is not sufficient enough, because for some you list as lillies (only), Shallow water (only), Deep water (only), and there is more than one of each of these areas, which is why I tried to identify each area individually, and I know some of the fish can be caught in more than one area.. The fishing area list is far from complete yet, and I'm sure that there are not too many lures to go now...??? Lol. I know you are trying to help, and it's all appreciated...

As I said earlier, each area should have been given a different name, but then again, I had no idea I was gonna start this then..!!! Hehe.

THAT'S GREAT THAT IS...!!! What I will do now is add all the fish I have listed (plus lure info) into the relevant NUMBERED AREAS, which should easier still for people to follow and understand, AND be a whole lot easier to edit... Just bear with me...

Yeah, hopefully this will make it easier for people to get an overview.

Btw. now we are at it, I made a picture reference for the size of the sweetspots (inner circle). Below picture shows large inner circle (top), middle inner circle (middle) and small inner circle (bottom).

The circles somehow look bigger here than they do on my iPad, I guess PC pixels are larger than iPad pixels or something like that, but comparing the size of the spot to the size of the fish should give you an idea of how they are. The smallest circle is really small! If you have doubts, try to take a green lure and throw it out in area 2 (lillies) a couple of times - this is the area where the Coho Salmon lives, and this is where it is easiest to get a small inner circle bite from my experience. When you've seen them a couple of times, you sort of learn to identify them.

PS: The Brook Trout, Coho Salmon and Grass Carp all have the small spot - I forgot to put that in the list above, but I added it in the last one on edit.

I'm really hating the Rudd. Been trying to catch the Brook Trout for days now. You'd think I'd get at least a single one with all the green lures I've been tossing in the lake. Think the Rudd ate all the Brook Trouts in my fishing hole. Can someone repopulate my Trouts?

Anyone catch a Brook Trout outside of area 8 with something other than small sweet spot? I need a fishing master to teach me the secret art of attracting the right fish.

No good asking me...!!! I've been fishing every day since it started, and I just cannot get anything past a silver award... I'm gonna launch my iPad into our koi pond to see if that will work any better...!!! Lol.

Wow, much better. Great job guys. I'm keeping my eyes on this chart to try and fill in my remaining empties. Did someone say their book is done or was that my imagination?
