tnx GirlMixALot. I never thought gold awarded Yellow Bass would be so hard to get. I still have gold Coho Salmon and Green Sunfish to catch. And they are everywhere. I guess I caught at least 50 of each but no gold price yet.

Thanks for the Yellow Bass gold award info, as it's not on the chart. The ironic thing about the fishing is that the more you get, the harder it becomes to finish..

Just got 2 of those weirdly eyeballs in the sky on the trot..!!

Not having much luck with the event fish again this time around, and have got to the point where I can't make lures fast enough, ran out again.. 70 spaces in the tackle box, and there's currently 8 mixed items in it, including 5 lobster pots.

It looks like I will (again) not catch the gold Carp and gold Lake Sturgeon this time.

I'm keep catching the Zander instead of the Carp. Anyone has a trick to determine when you have a Carp or Zander when you fish with a green lure?

I'm catching Lake Sturgeons but never a gold weight. Did SC change the areas where you can catch a gold Lake Sturgeon with the update?

I'm only fishing with green (Carp) and blue (Lake Sturgeon) lures at the areas which give a gold weight according the table of John.

i will try to get a chart up.

there is no trick between the carp and zander.

carp usually bite on gold lures. i caught a few gold size carp in area 9 with green lures since the event started.

This is my first post. I registered here few days ago as I was looking for guidance to catch Golden Trout. The information I found was amazing. I followed the tips and caught all (Bronze, Silver and Gold) Golden Trout. Thanks all.

The thread is quite interesting and people here are doing a great job. This event is a big let down as I was hoping to catch the 2 new fishes but until now nothing as such.

Is there any update on the two new fishes.
