    More DEV Participation

    Here is an idea, how about a little game DEV participation in this forum. Seriously I've never seen an idea submitted on this forum actually make it to the game. And i have posted quite a few ideas. In reality this is how it goes, I think up what i hope is a super cool idea. I post hoping to god a DEV sees or reads my idea. A couple of unknown nobodies post on why they think It'll never make it to the game and eventually my thread slips away into the abyss of the forum archives, and lets be honest never once did anyone of any importance read my idea. Your idea is never acknowledged let alone considered. So yea how bout someone from supercell make their way over to this forum and at least pretend like they read these ideas.

    I agree, the presence of SC on the forums is non existent. Thus realistically posting ideas here a pointless exercise. Let alone the amount of ♥♥♥♥ on the forums, no wonder they don't provide acknowledgement or feedback. Rather disappointing.

    Agree...it's a pretty forum, for sure, but nothing of substance really comes out of it.

    In the Ideas and Feature requests section, You can see User ideas that made it into the Game in what I believe is the Ruled-out Ideas Sticky.

    So in 11-ish months you have visited the forums a total of 40 times and have not noticed any movement?

    This is what tommy was talking about. More than a few and that thread hasn't been updated to mention the most recent patches which also included things like opt-out, save multiple layouts and a partial nerf/counter to dragons and lavaloonion to name but a few. The devs read what we post. You have to remember though that most of what gets posted multiple times every day is the same bad "totally new, super revolutionary, must have it yesterday, best idea EVAR!!!" ♥♥♥♥. Even the good ideas get reposted over and over. SC only replies to them once then lets the community burdon itself with ignoring the forum rules like you did.

    The developers and moderators read every idea thread. These ideas are discussed and reported frequently within the staff and moderator circle. Some are interesting enough to be added to short-term to-do lists, some to long-term lists, some simply monitored to see if it fits a direction they want to go, and some are ruled out due to negatives overriding the positives or if they don't fit in the direction they want (or secretly can't say) the game is headed. YOUR direct input has led to numerous in-game changes such as:


    * Defense ranges/toggling while under construction
    * Clan Wars attack preview screen
    * 1-time village name change
    * Hero Icons show ability status in replays
    * Reduced Boost Prices
    * Reduced Obstacle Clear Times
    * Boost all button for buidling types
    * Visitors can see army camp troops
    * Boosting pause for Barracks, Heroes and Spell Factory
    * Troop/Hero Levels in Player Profile
    * More Clan Settings
    * Improved Clan Search
    * Clan Tags
    * Increased League and Clan War Win Bonuses at all levels
    * Skeleton/Witch Related Trap
    * Spell Ready Notification
    * Ability to queue/order spells individually instead of grouped by type
    * Dismiss troops from Clan Castle and Army Camps
    * Greatly reduced hero regen times
    * Ability to spend elixir or gold on walls
    * Add a pause button to the attack, defense and war replays
    * Clan War, Attack and Defense replays now show "Troops available"
    * Add ability to upgrade multiple walls at once (like rows)
    * Greatly reduced Valkyrie training times
    * Increase text space on leader messages
    * CW Enhancements: Separate war base layout, numbered villages, notice who started war, dismiss war CC troops

    your dreaming if you think they read every idea. I doubt they read 1 in 10 ideas on this page, and if they do, why don't they show their opinion a little more?

    1. Why would you read every idea posted when the same already ruled out idea gets posted 10+ times a day?
    2. They comment on the really really big ideas that have lots of support (quests, base layouts, upgrading heroes in war, ect.). But if you said every idea you thought was kinda cool, then you will have those people start wondering if/when their idea will make it.

    Now not every idea will work for Clash, but after playing their other games, it seems they hold onto the idea they liked and see if they'll work for their other games. Overall Admin presense is actually awesome compared to the many many other games I've played.

    How many "big" ideas are there. Like 1/100 so that outlines the presence of the moderators. and no not everyone posts the same topics and ideas. However the people that do post relevant material get dismissed or overlooked due to the overflow of ruled out ideas. Which is one of the main problems with the forums, if there was more of a moderation of the forums. Those ideas that constantly come up would die down. Ultimately though, that's the way it is and that's why posting ideas on here is lame cos there is way to much criticism compared to positivity.

    We are just a bunch of dudes debating hypotheticals when a DEV from SUPERCELL could easily reply and remove all doubt that they read "each and every idea thread".

    And how legit is that sporadically updated idea list covering supposedly ruled in or out ideas, like who made the author of that list the authority. I see nothing in his forum profile to indicate he is anything other than an active forum user, normal coc player.
