Heroes should be in clan wars while upgrading! (explanation)
I know that this has already been discussed, but the thread I found about this had been closed, so I decided to open a new one.
I know supercell has to make money, and some money come from people that use gems to boost their heroes, but they should also think about people that also uses gems in the game, that will stop buying gems because of not having the heroes in wars, because they will get tired of waiting 7 days to be in wars.
I am the number one player in my clan, and whenever I am upgrading my heroes, I have to stay one week out of wars, they get demotivated for wars, I have nothing to do for one week, I start to dowload other games while I wait this week. They get demotivated, some of them will soon be in the same situation as me, and will eventually stop playing, because we like to be in wars togheter. We are going to spend more time waiting for wars than actually being in wars.
But I am not talking about a clan that plays for free, more than 15 members of my clan have spent money in gems, lots of us have bought more than 10.000 gems, which is a considerable amount of money, more than what you pay for a PS4 game. Lots of us continue buying gems to farm, and will stop buying gems if we stop playing games.
I have no problems in supporting the game and buying gems, which I do often, but I will not pay to boost my heroes everytime I am upgrading them.
Furthermore, just like I believe that players should support the games, I also believe that companies should value their costumers, not just try to take all they can from the gamers. It should be a fair equation.
Once again, I really believe that in the end you will lose money by not making them available, but even if you don,t, it is the right thing to do!
I have stopped playing other games which I spent money on, because of things like this.
I do understand that if you decide to do this, it will take time to make it possible through coding, but you should decide on this and state your position if you will or won´t make heroes available in the future.
I really hope I can play this game with my friends for years to come.
I struggle to get a war team together due to opt outs on hero upgrades. Most advanced TH9/10 players are rarely in.
Who does supercell think pays the real money?... it's not those that sit out clan wars. It's the people who want thier hero's no matter what and pay for them immediately.
My personal spending 100€ on a chest of gems each year, no more. There's no way I'll pay 10€ for a very minor hero upgrade just to attack in war. Do what I did... get yourself a second accout and hold it around TH7/8... you can still enjoy wars.
