    Post New Star System for war (3 Star +bonus star)

    So i am proposing an addition to the current war star system that would allow clan and the members in the clans to challenge themselves and others for extra loot and clan xp, but also resolve DRAWN Clan Wars.

    This is my idea:

    First there is no time limit anymore or increase the time significantly so there is alot less clutch 99% which everyone hates.

    The normal 3 star system(50%, Town hall and 100%) remains and only these stars will go towards the war stars count to win the war.

    This is where the new time limit idea above comes into play. If the attacker gets a three star in a required time they will receive an additional bonus star. the "required time" would be different for every base depending on the attackers th and the defenders th. E.g a TH10 attacking a TH8 has alot less time to complete the challenge to receive the bonus star than a TH8 or TH7 would. Once a bonus start has been won by a clan mate, unlike normal stars, you can no longer win that star so you will have to attack another base were the challenge has not been completed.

    What does the bonus star do?
    Once you have managed to 3 star a base in the allocated time and therefore the challenge as been completed i think the star should count to multiple things
    • extra 100k loot of each gold and elixir to your bonus war loot
    • certain amount of extra Clan XP
    • goes towards a separate count of 'bonus stars' and if there is a draw in the war, the clan with the most amount of bonus stars wins.


    I think this would really work well because even if you choose to bully a town hall lower than you you can still challenge yourself by doing it in a certain time to receive the bonus star.

    No time limit, but a required time?! Isnt that the same thing or am I missing something?

    So there would be no time limit to complete the attack, e.g get the 3 stars however part of the challege in getting the 4th star is gettign the 100% 3 star in a required time.

    If thats makes sense...

    I believe taking the time element away from an attack would do more hurt than good. Imagine me being able to conduct a 25 minute attack, just to troll during war.

    The reason for the time in the first place is to add that sense of urgency.

    Agreed with guy above, time is an essential part of war
    a 99% two star makes the game fun. There needs to be a time limit and I think there is no need for that "bonus star".
    Just leave war the way it is

    Yes I tend to agree with you, so maybe keep the time limit as it stands and have the 'challenge' time something harder.

    Yea, definitely keep the time, but possibly add challenge/time attack style bonuses for completing within a certain timeframe.

    We need to keep in mind that the time limit of 3 mins was set way back... when there was no 4th mortar, no 4th air defense, no skeleton traps, no air sweeper... The issue here is that SC has kept adding buildings, distractions, defenses over the past months and yet the time limit has remained the same. So yes, I do not object to a time limit myself, but if 3 mins were adequate a year ago, I think that 3.5 mins or something are appropriate today.
