Let th8's upgrade to skull wALLS WITH ELIXIR!

As many of you know, the number of gold upgrades to elixir upgrades at th8 is extremely lopsided. After about a month and a half of being at th8 I no longer have anyhting to spend my elixir on AT ALL. This sucks because I have like another month of th8 maxing out walls and teslas and dark troops and whatnot. Now, my storages have been full at 6 million elixir for about a week now and its really starting to ♥♥♥♥ me off! Supercell needs to make it so you can upgrade to skull walls for 500k elixir or gold! Please help and reply so this idea can get wind!

This was implemented for a couple months and then repealed because it had an adverse effect on the economy. It's not going to happen.

I would enjoy that very much. Im at TH8 and am running out of things to buy with elixer. I constantly have 6 mill waiting for research to finish. The loot bonus usually covers my troop cost for raids.

No. Been there. Done that. Move on to TH9 when your Lab is done if you care about your elixir so much. I guarantee, too much elixir will no longer be a problem.

The gold to elixir cost ratio is always lopsided at every th If u include walls.

Actually gold and elixir at th8 are pretty close not including gold.

Try different army comps that use more elixir to get greater rewards.
I used loonion to get all my de.

Instead of complaining you should be glad.
Now you never have to worry about not having enough for war troops or donationS.

Donate more troops. Share the love.

For reference to max th9 not including walls from max th8 is 200 mil gold and 90 mil elixir. In th8 I don't remember the exact numbers but it was decently close.


P.s. never gonna happen. early th9s need those juicy th8s to survive. It's 10.5 mil just for lvl 6 barch For reference.

Hi sausagefest, this has been a highly debated issue for awhile now, and while I believe people are correct that this would not be viable in the from it was originally introduced, there are viable ways to introduce it. You should take a look at the post in my sig, if you have anything valuable to add that would be great.

Keep in mind if EVERY single TH8 and TH7 took my advice (on how to burn elixir and have no elixir for people to steal while you are finishing up your wall upgrades) all the nay-saying TH9's/TH10's would beg for a system similar to the one I have outlined to be introduced.

What you said about gold and elixir does not make ay sense at all because you openly contradict yourself in the same sentence, which i found very funny. Also, th9 you can use you elixir on walls making it an even playing field and a very fun one. Also, making pricey army comps isnt a good idea because they take so much time to train and I just want to be able to upgrade to th9 as soon as I can, and not only be able to attack twice a day.

Ok I'm going to spell this out to anyone complaining about this, because you should understand that the only way you could possibly have 6 million elixir constantly is if you never attack, spells and troops would use up that elixir so quickly, and you could then use the gold you earn from raiding to upgrade walls, it would keep elixir low so you don't lose so much to attacks and it pretty much solves your problems, i seriously can not imagine a scenario where my elixir would be full for an extended period of time, i am always looking for more elixer,

could it be that you are just not getting enough for the larger upgrades and you just want to spite everyone who attacks you?

regardless you need to get better at the game, that will solve your problems
