Clan Wars question!

If I start building a level 1 inferno and I start war search, will it affect the war matchmaking? Since it's not done building yet..

Follow up question: if I don't add the newly constructed inferno into the war base, will it not count the inferno for matchmaking?

i dont think it affects if its not built. But even if you havent put it in your base it still factors in.

Not entirely sure on the matchmaking side but I think it wouldnt count since you have not built it yet.

Now if you build during prep day, it will count as as level 1 tower.

Once you start building it, it factors into matchmaking because its now available to use on your war map, whether you place it or not.

A few wars ago there was a TH9 in an enemy clan. He hadn't added defenses to his war base since TH7 but he was still on the map with the TH9s. His main base had all the TH9 defenses.

Yes. It absolutely will count for the matchmaking, because you will have full access to it for your war base. Just drag and drop. If you want to time it with war start your new defenses during a prep day for maximum benefit. Then you get it without the weight counting for the first war.

Yes, I have experimented with this myself (it wasn't an inferno tower, but it was a new defensive structure).
