Player Tournament

Every 6 months, the 256 top players fight in a tournament. The tournament name is called "Battle For The King!" or you guys can reply with a better tournament title

Each player is setup with a player in the top 256. They battle each other. Winner go's on to the next round. Loser is out. Players have 2 days to attack their player that they are told to attack. IF they don't attack they're out. The tournament goes from 256 players to, 128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, and then 1. Winner will receive a reward. Rewards can be ranged from Gems to Gold/Elixir/Dark Elixir or a free upgrade for something. Anyway I checked the ruled out ideas first before posting this.

How to decide top 256 player?
throphy? Strength?
and what if the top player dont want to battle

example player 1 vs player 2
both not interest in tournament
both dont attack each other
who is out?both? That mena from 256 will be 127 there will be some double quit along the way

Hmm... the 256 people are decided by trophies. Say if the 173rd person didn't want to play, we would find someone else, slightly below the 256th person.
