I like the second one better, it seems like it would do reasonably well against most types of attack.
Most definitely the second, since it has double giant bombs to stop hogs and is more compartmentalized. The first base is easily vulnerable to hogs.

1st Base easy 2s with Gowipe and Jump spells and 3s with GoHo and Lavaloons.
2nd base a lot better space out compartments againts GoWipe and double bombs againts GoHo.
Thx for the input, I rarely face VERY good clashers so I am going for anti 2-star, idk if I already stated that or not.
Any suggestions on what to change w/ the second base?
Try switching the cannons next to the core with archer towers, and maybe a couple of the others as well. Putting archer towers on the edge wastes their range, centralizing them a bit can help you take advantage of that.
Double bombs are pointless against 2 star attacks. If you're using the 2nd base one I'd make 4 single bomb locations.
Just because the base is an anti-2 star base doesn't mean that it will just be attacked by 2-star attacks. Most of the time, anti-2 star bases without double-giant bombs are targeted by joggers (hogging is a 3-star strategy), and hoggers usually easily 3-star those bases. So really, even if it is an anti-2 star base, any war base SHOULD have a double double giant bomb set.

Second one is the better base IMO.
