please look closely. teslas are not hidden by magic. they are under ground. popup only when enemy in range. cant defend lightning if under ground. no 2... ur AC runs on high power electricity. what will happen if lightening hits it? there is nothing known to man that can withstand lightening. its so powerful that even transformers melt. so logically it cant happen. tesla mechanism fries with such million volts of energy. there u go. logic.....

yes you have - there is already practically no use for ligtning strikes, cost time taken to brew, lets face it you just want a shield for your DE.
This very suggestion penalises a lowbies only way of hitting back at higher levels TH7 on Th8 and TH8 on TH9 etc. in revenge attacks.
NO CLAN, Back in Training Camp
also DE zap is solved by new matchmaking system. high TH lvls are unlikely to b matched against low levels. reduce zapping

The only thing know to man withstanding lightning is a simple lightning-rod. Well then, let's add a lightning rod to the Hidden Tesla. Problem solved. At least, in the game. Let's not forget this is a game, and a little bit of impossibility is still allowed. Dragons don't exist either. And neither do running skeletons with bombs...
In fact, the only troops that could really exist, are Barbarians and Archers... and an occasional Valkyrie, maybe.
So, for the sake of my concept, let's say a Tesla can absorb a Lightning Spell.
@Ironagedave
I really don't care about shielding my DE. I get zapped, and I zap too. Keeping the balance, you know. My suggestion does not penalize 'lowbies' in their revenge. They don't attack a higher level TH with a full army, knowing a victory is next to impossible. Hitting a DE tank with a Lightning Spell does not change if the Teslas are not triggered...
So this idea encourages to zap first, try to raid later? Lol
Hidden Tesla = Possible Lightening Rod is not really a huge leap of logic there for most people that have enough technically to play CoC.
It is so minor a step in logic any teenager can come with it, which makes sense since this is a age 13+ game, and should come at no surprise that this topic comes up too often because people don't realize or care that material on the matter has been writen before.
Clash of Clans has its on logic to it, inspired by some real life things and lore, but is not, nor will not, blindly follower real life logjc. "It happens in real life, so it should happen in game," is not a valid reason that can have any hope to of standing on it's own. Gameplay trumps that 'logic'.
So really you should be asking, how will it improve gameplay? Does it fit with Supercell's design model (simple and intuitive)? Is it worth the effort and risk to put into the game (since removing it will not be an option)?
I see the idea is just too complicated and really not worth the mess up in comabt balance to do.

Town Hall: 9 (Mid Stage) Level: 110+ Base Type: Back to a real one, as SC intended

SC has already made a statement about this and that basicly comes down to one thing:
deal
with
it.
Lightning spells are basically used in 3 ways
-Zap DE
-Zap air defense at th7/8 for mass dragon raid
-Zap cc
The 3rd way is the only one this idea would effect since it is the only one the teslas will normally be popped for. This takes away the main use of lightning at mid th8+.
I don't think it would improve the game in any way.
