This update simply doesnt work, period.
Most people TH8 or above understand the importance of resources and keep them very well protected.
Nobody is going to steal my elixer without spending a ♥♥♥♥load on their army.
I cannot farm the millions required from people with similar strength towns to me.
In order for this game to work, the higher levels must ♥♥♥♥ a few Th5's and 6's so that they can progress, and in turn the lower players will learn a valuable lesson to protect their resources.
When i was TH5 and got attacked by higher level opponents for 180k, it was annoying, but in a way motivated me to want to get a stronger town. This just protects the lower levels who have it easy enough as it is. You only need to do 2-3 successful farms to get the what? 600k needed for most upgrades...
The large resource requirements is what makes this game hard in the upper levels. Making that grind frustrating is just going to ruin it for everyone. And those TH5-6 who now have it easy, will get to 8 faster, but then join us with the frustration even sooner.
Really? To be honest, its still actually pretty easy even with the nerfing of loots. Its just that they have to announce it because it's really not fair for the customer. But the game being difficult? No. It's still pretty easy.
Tell that to Vietnamese Bro (WINNERS of last MASTER TOURNAMENT), North 44, bonbee canada, After Dark, The Borg, etc...top 50 clans who keep on playing despite the update.
Farming is great but doesn't generate any income for Supercell. Would you like to work for free?

I dont see how it is possibly not harder.
There is less targets with a viable amount of loot. (making it cost more to find a suitable match)
The targets i find are higher level. (So i have to waste giants and wallbreakers and ♥♥♥♥.)
The army sizes i need take more time to make. (So i get less battles per hour).
These aren't even skill factors. They are just facts.
It is harder to find loot and good targets. Pedro just normally toes the line of neutrality.

I roam in the range of 1500-2000 trophies unless I toss in a few maxed level pekkas or dragons or else I can rarely loot anything more than 150k each. 99% of the villages which I can loot with pretty basic troops(less elixir required) offer no more than 50k each.
Well, I guess this would explain all the cursing as of late by a few clan members who have been complaining more than usual they can almost never find anyone worth attacking...
Actually the higher you go, the more your pumps gets closer to maximum level, the lesser you'll have to play. My main account only need s about 500k-1mil resource a day. The requirements need to upgrade a more advanced unit is high but the wait it needs is higher. So let's say I upgraded 3 wiz towers yesterday and it cost about 1,925,000 each. So that's close to 6mil. Needs 6 days to finish. So there goes my 3 builders. I I wanted to grind, i can make about 6m a day still so what do I do? Just limit my hunt to at least maybe 500k so my bank just don't go full all the time.

Only have 2 wiztowrs lvl6 to make lvl7
and one canon lvl10 to lvl11
The cost for the upgrades at T9
is insane ...ex wiztwr 7 cost 5.360m gold each,,,hb808 your 100$ aint gonna get you far buddy...
I also took over a T7 from a buddy that gave up lol...oh happy times there
