Which corner setup should I use?

1 or 2 OR 3*? Or does it not matter either way? Here are the 2 options I'm thinking right now, but if you have any opinions feel free to share

    1:

    2:

    3:

    *EDIT to add 3rd option

1, because it will be harder to get your mortar. Good luck.

In my opinion - neither, i'd put the upgrading tessla outside of your base with traps next to it, Giants are attracted to them and the replays should be satisfying.

And then use setup 1 for the reason elliot gave

    2.

    Rationale
    1) For (1), once troops break into your cannon compartment, there is a high chance there majority of the troops will be in your mortar's blind spot.
Whereas for (2), after the cannon, next closest target would be the tesla, hence still staying out of mortar blind spot(although a few troops will have buggy AI at times)

    2) spring trap location for (2) is more optimal against giants than (1)

But what I would improve upon (2) is to shift the walls that is on the right of the AD, and shift it North-east by 1 tile, which further helps to prevent troops from entering your mortar's blind spot, and still have proper T junction.

And please, get to minimum purple wall, it really helps.

2 is way better, cause of the hidden tesla defending the parts after it

    Like so?...

My next upgrades after AD are walls and hidden teslas so hopefully I can get things looking a little stronger

You're pretty much THE man as far as base design goes so I appreciate the advice.

It's difficult when I have 2 COC pros like you and Junliang giving opposing advice, lol. Gotta weigh my options I guess
