Inexperienced TH8: Attacking weird war bases while BK is upgrading

It is upgrading to level 10 right now and will be available in the last hour of the war. That means I can only use it for up to one attack.

I've never seen anything like these bases before. I know the basics like checking how far apart the ADs are, checking for how spaced out a base is, etc for deciding if I should use mass drags or hogs... but these bases are just strange. I guess they're pretty good considering I have no idea what to do with them.

And this is also my first time being my clan's #1 so that has me a little nervous. I'm used to just being clean up for the middle.

Spells: Rage, Heal, Lightning all level 5
Troops: Hogs 3 (level 4 will not finish in time for war), Dragons 3, Pekkas 3, Wizards 5, Golems 1, archers 5, healers 3, Minions 4, Balloons 5

1. I don't even know how to describe it. It looks like a tic tac toe board. Everything is so spread out that I kinda want to mass Hog it, but I'm scared of giant bombs. With such a spread out space, I might miss the giant bombs with my heal spells, as I have no idea where to expect them.

2. This is a star shaped base. I also assume I should Hog this one because the dragons would get caught going in a circle.

you can put 1 dragon in the compartments on the side you decide to attack from. Once all the buildings are cleared, you can funnel you dragons into the compact middle containing all 3 ads.

So I put 1 dragon into 1 compartment, wait for him to clear it out, and then put all my dragons down next to the aforementioned compartment and pray they go to the center?

Or, am I supposed to put 3 drags down on one side (1 per compartment), wait for them to (hopefully) clear them out, and then spam the remaining dragons on the cleared out side?

You clear two compartments, leaving the one in between intact:

Like other suggested, bring some max loons in cc for core defenses!
Watch out for AS, if atk from that side!

2nd base, star, zap the north ad, 8 dragons 8 loons 5 max loons in cc atk from south, easy 3 star. Spread out your dragons, and loons, dont send your loon in b4 cc troops out, best bet drop one loon NE or NW to lure out the cc, then start atk from the south.

on star base you can zap the top ad and drag from bottom with max loons in the cc, then with the other base I would gowipe of hog

Spaced out bases like these are best destroyed using gowipe. At least that's what I have found. And you have lvl 3 pekkas. Should be easy 3 star
