This would ruin the whole loot economy.
Sorry but this is a terrible idea every time it's suggested.

As the above poster suggested, it's bad because it would allow so many more players to dump loot into walls.
That means when we are pressing next over and over again to find a good raid....we will be pressing it even more as players have dumped loot into walls.
