Well, it has been about more than 8 months since so many people have been requesting for a clan war tournament update, but supercell is just not willing to bring out the update yet.
Just wondering why is supercell not yet introducing tornaments, why?
What do you people think could be the reason?

Well, they need to do everything.
Afterall they do earn millions everyday.
A lot of people spitball about how much they make, without even considering operating costs and the real economics. The second poster is correct, the game needs to be looked at back to basics and reestablished with clean AI, better economy and a new league system before new features are 'bolted on' as they have been since day one.

And it's been since dark elixir has been added to the game that people have been howling at the moon for zapping to stop.
Something I said not so long ago, in response to the "But they have a lot of money..." argument people bring up.
Actually, that is common complaint. Why don't they have more staff? If it is such a no-brainer, why not do the obvious?
What people fail to do is ask the question "Why haven't they done it yet?" SC staff aren't morons, despite what people want to say in thoughtless reaction. They can very well be people that were like you and me, and then get lucky to get a company started, and get this game made, and wind up where they are now.
So if average or better people are running things, why haven't they done 'the obvious'. Very likely because they get blocked by one thing or another. I could rattle off a long list of things that could explain why they don't have more staff for this... but I'm not. It isn't the purpose of this thread. Just want to make the point that obvious from our prospective is not so clear cut over there. Something is wrong, and not because 'they are stupid'.
I can't fully answer your question, but there are some very good reasons why they haven't gotten staff here. Like... the difference between gross income and net income. They can make several millions of dollars from CoC, but a large percentage could go to maintenance, payroll, and advertising. They may not have as much 'extra money' to hire people to clean this place up. But I don't know for sure, but that would be my first guess in regards to the 'they are so rich, why...' complaint.
As for the 'good old days'... still trying to brainstorm how to get those back

Are you in charge of a huge business company? Do you know exactly what it's like? Have you ever tried coding something that 90,000,000 people agree with? Do you know exactly the costs for new staff, keeping the servers up, etc.?
Tell me more about how knowledgable you are at business.

People are already complaining about search time, this would make the search time unbearable. Matching up 4x or 8x the clans before? That could take up to a day.
