Gems to use heroes in war

Since it is a hot topic right now (and rightfully so) I thought I would share my idea for using heroes in war.

I believe a small payment of gems (10 gems) should wake a hero for a single attack (war, multiplayer or revenge).

This would mean that each time a hero is down people would need to spend 60 gems for war attacks (back to back) I think the amount of people that would do this is much much higher then the number of people that fully gem heroes.

It would maintain a revenue stream for supercell plus it would allow most people to keep heroes active in war, which increases competitiveness, increases player enjoyment and also should increase how long players play the game.

Not having heroes and letting down clanmates is a big frustration for many that really only has a few options
    -Don't war (people lose enjoyment)
-War with 1 or less heroes (increase frustration, decrease enjoyment)
    -Gem hero time (prohibitively expensive)

No. Heroes can't go into war. I hope that's the end.

Way to argue your side. What is your reason for not wanting heroes in war? How would allowing heroes in war make this a worse game?

There is currently a 1600 post thread that shows it is a popular idea. This is my suggestion on a way that might appeal to Supercell more then just straight allowing the heroes since it will also generate revenue. I don't know how much compared to what they currently make but I don't think it would be that far off.

Revenue neutral, improves the game, keeps people playing longer, seems like a win to me.

They do not all approve of this idea.
    - Some people have posted twice.
    - Some people have posted to say they disagree.

Also, it's not realistic enough. The game in itself isn't totally realistic, but people can't be used twice at once, their equipment needs to be upgraded properly. And they need to be there for it.

Yes I didn't say 1600 unique posters. It is still one of the most popular ideas on the thread and I would guess it has at least an 80-90% approval rate.

As you said the game isn't totally realistic. If Supercell has a choice between making the game more fun and more realistic they will choose more fun.

Things that would make the game more realistic
-Troops in your army camps defend your village (would ruin the game)
-Troops come home if they survive (would ruin the game)
-Giving resources to friends if you want (you get the picture)
-There are many more much better examples but I think its fair to say clash is not realistic, just chose a couple that have been ruled out.

Realistic?! Really? Since when has CoC EVER been "realistic"? PLEASE..

Troops spawning out of thin air? Buildings repairing themselves magically? I could go on..

Saying it isn't "realistic" to have heroes usable for war is invalid to the extreme.

I said the game isn't totally realistic.

I am simply saying, the heroes have to be present for the upgrades to be fitted on them.

So from a gameplay perspective you see no negatives to finding ways to get heroes into wars?

I don't agree with the realism card (they can defend in war can't they) but that's obviously your opinion so fair enough.

Hopefully we can get some comments about how it would hurt the game or supercell, or about how the idea can be improved so it can grow into a usable and attractive solution for supercell.

To be honest, I don't see the problem with adding something slightly unrealistic to improve the game (which is already extremely unrealistic to begin with) much of a problem.

Only thing I can think of as a flaw is that SC is risking a big stream of income. IMO it'd help them gain more money, the reasons already stated, but that's just my opinion. The reason why SC got to where it is, is because it focused more on gameplay quality rather than tryna squeeze as much money as possible.

Just keep them in war. And also keep them the same level. That ends them having to change anything. It's simple. It would make everything a lot easier on ebpveryone and a lot of people have very good points, unlike what you're saying which is irrelivant
