Clan War Matchmaking Can Be Fair

Hello Dear Supercell And My Fellow Clashers.

Well, As All Of Us Have Experienced This, Almost All The Time We Are Drawn Against Much Stronger Or Weaker Clans In Clan War. It's Very Rare To Get An Equal Clan To Your Own Clan And Compete In A Fair Battle.
Of Course When You Get An Easy War You Are More Than Happy For That Extra Loot And Those Precious XPs. But We All Now That Sometimes You Get A Harder One And You Have No Chance Of Winning The War. In Our Current Clan War, The Opponent Clan Have A Th10 With Maxed Out War Troops And Our #1 Is A Th9, So Our Top Two Got 3 Starred By That Th10, And Now We've Given Up On Winning The War. Nobody Likes This When It Happens To Them.
There Have Been Some Suggestions About This, Like Cancelling The War Search Every Couple Of Minutes To Avoid Such Things, But That Doesn't Work All The Time Or Maybe Not Anymore.
I Don't Know How The Matchmaking Works But I Think In The New Version It Takes Much Longer Before It Goes Out Of Our Clan Strength's Range. (Here My Suggestion Steps In).
So... What I Suggest Is Extending The Time That The Search Engine Spends To Find A Perfect Match Before It Goes Out Of The Clan Range. Like Extending It To Up To 6 Hours And Instead Decreasing The War Preparation Time To 18 Hours.

I Think If This Happens In The Next Version Of The Game, Everyone Will Be Happy And There Won't Be Any:

This Is Something That Bothers Everyone (Clan War Matchmaking), And If You're Not Comfortable With Me Typing Like This, Don't Bother Replying To The Thread.

Pehaps a better idea would be to allow clan war scheduling. I choose a start time, and it must be on the top of an hour, and it must be 10 minutes in advance of the hour(but can be 24 hours in advance if I want it to. Then there is no rush to find a quick matchup. Lets say there are 100 clans (20v20) that want to start a war at 7pm tonight. I'm making the numbers small so its easy to comprehend, I realize there are thousands every hour.

Under the current system, the 40th strongest clan might start a war search, and the 60th strongest clan might start a war search around the same time, and the system says "good enough" and they war, although it might be imbalanced.

Under the new system, all 100 clans are ranked from 1-100. clan one battles clan 2, clan 3 vs clan 4 etc. Make war day 5 minutes shorter, so if I war at 7pm today, war ends at 6:55 tomorrow, and I can war again at 7pm tomorrow. (since I can schedule a war even during the current one. (As long as the new war is at 7pm or later.

Maybe you could even allow every 30 minutes, but by having all wars start at the exact time, you can see what clans are in, rank them, then choose all the matchups

Is this really a problem? My clans last 10 to 15 wars have been pretty fair for both sides. The last 2 you might think were a little imbalanced as the other clans had more TH10s than us but they all had low level troops to balance it better.

I think Super Cell has done something to better balance this. Is it perfect? probably not but it feels fair.

Because the extra effort it takes to intentionally make a post more difficult than any other wall of text speaks volumes about the post. Make your post difficult to read and nobody will care what it says. Pretty easy to make the jump to troll post from there. Don't even need to mention that you ignored all of the forum rules and search function. This is not a new topic or idea.

Perhaps It's Not A Problem For You, Not Until You Give Up Right Away When You See The Enemy Clan Defenses And Troops.

I Think We All Know That The Longer Matchmaking Takes, There Is More Chance We Get An Unbalanced War.
So Supercell Can Remove That Timing Limit And Extend It Up To 6 Hours To Find A Perfect Match. I'm Sure It Won't Take That Long To Find A Perfect Match In That Amount Of Time With So Many Clans Around The World. And Instead Of This 6 Hours Preparation Day Could Get Decreased To 12-18 Hours.

TBH the game looks the defences, calculates how many th10s 9s 8s 7s etc should be put in to make it as fair as possible.

But sometimes it just doesn't work out and the game can't find any other clan to match you up with who approximately have the same strength as you. So I guess the game just finds the best choice to at least make it a little fair.

But as you said we've all experienced this, and I don't think there's much more SC can do about it.
