Lightning defense

I looked through threads, defending against Lightning has been mentioned but my idea is different.

Idea 1: Bubble/dome that deflects lightning
It would be great if we can lay like a "bubble" trap over our defense. It would be hidden to the enemy. For example I place this bubble/dome over my dark elixir. Someone finds my village. He can't see where I placed the bubble/dome defense and tries to send 3-4 lightnings to my DE storage (I really hate this, 3 people just did this in 10 min, took <1,000 each I wish I was exaggerating) and the dome appears and deflects the damage to surrounding buildings.

Idea 2: Lightning Rod
New defense! A lightning rod that's visible, takes up one square space... Abosorbs lightning strikes

Attack searches are based on the league that you currently are. This month there's been a massive wave of TH8 to 10 moving to the Silver League. I have nearly 30k de on the Gold League and haven't had a lightning strike for weeks now. Using a farming layout.

Interesting, thank you for this information. But how do you know there was a massive wave moving to the silver league? Based on what you've seen? I'm just curious. Also I'm holding 90k DE lol (for my queen) I'm guessing that's my problem.

Every time you are zapped, be happy they didn't come and do a legit attack to take all of your DE.
It's annoying, but it's better than losing a full 3000 DE.

I understand that logic but to be honest, I'd rather have an all out attack... I get a shield and most times they take no DE. I had 3 people today zap me (all in 10 minutes, which is why I decided to make this suggestion) and take over 1,000DE each, then someone did an all out attack. The all out attack took 120 DE and gave me a shield. I prefer the all out attack.

Do you have your TH outside? It will help you get a shield faster, so those 3 zappers can shield you as well.

FYI using lightning spells is not good strategy. Moving up and down trophy levels depending on waves of th 8-10 moving up and down, you don't know this, not good strategy

Yes th is outside. It helps give me shields. Thanks for the advice though.

I really don't mind losing loot to people who flat out beat me. Kudos to them, they earned it. But lightning? Come on, that's not clashing.

Since when is zapping not a legit way to attack and loot?

Isnt the lightning spell a part of the game, made and implemented by SC?

Its not like a third party ♥♥♥♥ed the system and inplemented it just to annoy other players.

I think SC should make a lvl 7 lightning powerful enough to completely destroy the DE storage and let the attacker take it all. ⚡️👍
