I'n doing the same thing. Have 20 or so skulls left. Goblem upgrading to lvl5 for no other reason than to say I did it. All I have left are lvl3 dragons which I don't use either. I have no plans on going to TH9 anytime soon. I'll likely hang around as a TH8 until I at least get the Golem upgraded. I don't grind as much as i used to and the thought of needing all the elixir just to upgrade the camps makes my head hurt.
