Interesting read... Controversial of course as well...

Let's all be better parents next time and see what we are letting our kids do on our phones before we let them borrow our iphone (I'm not a parent, but, if I was i would be asking my kid to play with me first before i let them play... Then, we would have a friendly chat about the game)

In the meantime, I'll stay in an adult only clan :-)

Amazing how mirrored social life is between the real world and the internet. Unfortunate the article used COC as the example, it is a game and games should be fun.

This is hilarious. Not just the Urine in the water guns. The fact that ten year olds letting power go to their head comes as a surprise to some of these people.

She should have found out why he demoted his friend...maybe he done a war attack with a garbage farmer army and he was actually being nice by not kicking his friend....

Actually, our understanding of gender has changed A LOT over time. Pretty recently, much of society has caught on to that fact that gender is an expression of a person's inner identity and not their external physical appearance.

Being born with certian body parts doesn't make you a boy or a girl and neither (or anything in between) carries the obligation of being tough or docile.

You don't have to like it or agree with it, but its how we as a race have evolved.

I'd have to disagree with you. But I don't think the people who run these forums would appreciate us arguing over this so I won't say any more.

Journalism makes me laugh nowadays. It seems that a prerequisite of being a writer should require some form of remedial English. You do not pluralize "elixir" in this context! At least be consistent and say "earn golds and elixirs." At least his ignorance would not be as obvious.

He attacks our game, we attack his grammar! We are the Grammar Barbarians [or insert any CoC troop]

P.S. 10 year olds are not the only ones who play this game. Unlike yourself, some of us have college degrees, even Master's degrees!
I'm 34, teach, and have a masters degree. The elixirs part made me laugh. Next year I'm going to start a Clash of Clans Club at my middle school. Guess I'll have to do a anti bullying on clash lesson.

    Hahaha me too.

I think hat view is just too PC.

The reality of things is just different.. Reality doesnt care if it "hurts your feelings" of whatever is your "sexual orientation". But I would just have to agree to disagree with this guy (or girl) for the reasons that you have stated.

That's odd, becuase you were the one whose feelings were hurt when you thought that male children aren't being raised masculine enough in your eyes.

Reality doesn't care that your feelings are hurt. This is how things ACTUALLY are, not how you think they should be, how you remember them, or how you and your social group have projected yourselves.
