Tbh i kinda replaced my GoWiPe with GiWiPe...mainly because my dark barracks are getting lava hounds

Compartments and upgrade walls. While I agree GoWiPe is a solid 2 star against most TH9s, its probability of getting 3 on TH9s goes up quite a bit if walls are purple or pink.

gowi startegies are so variable - it really shouldn't need a nerf.

golem wizards and a few walbreakers are the core

pekka, witches (+dragon or minions on hybrid variations) you can mix and match to whatever works for you it's the basic principle of meat shield and range troops replacing giant wizzard healer strategy for the early part of the game, it works well for those who know how to use it but it can also flop spectacularly for those who don't.

So ive noticed that a lot of people are using this strategy and its very effective. Ive lost my last few clan wars due to the enemy using this strategy and found its very overpowered. I was wondering if this is something that should be nerfed. I know that it doesn't 3 star everytime but it is very close to if used right. I suggest that either a new defense could put a dent in this strategy or change a current defense to do something like times 2 damage or something of that nature.

Some of my clan mates are GoWiPe fanatics, but they don't get 3 stars that often.

Different combinations, plus appropriate spells, plus perfect timing would result to 3 stars, but there's no 100% guarantee to the 3-star outcome.

Comparment setup is very attractive to high (or max) level Hog Riders. They can just hop over high level walls with healing spells and rage spells, and your base gets done.
