Bad idea.
Elixer is used for offense, gold is used for defense (generally).
That's the way it is, and that's the way it's gonna stay.

Can we at least fill those 4 "coming soon" slots in the dark barracks first. No need to hurry up and create a whole new barracks.

A troop that moves super fast, takes up two slots, and high damage but low health that targets splash damage defences. Perhaps it might jump over walls or Smth.

These are just ideas but I think it would be good to have a gold barracks after the DE barracks is full.
I totally agree with you - but I assume Supercell already have ideas for those and I am just suggesting ideas for the future
