    Idea to Enhance Activity, Counter Looters & Make Game MORE FUN Than It Already Is!!

    Hear me out!
    Issues I see: --When we get into higher levels, sometimes I find myself not checking the game often because I am upgrading things and don't feel the need to sign on or even attack if I have a nice shield going.
    --Looters constantly diminish resources, especially with higher troops.
    --More excitement is needed than already provided with single attack mode, war and goblin map.

    Idea: Add function that allows player to manually use SPELLS(unlike CC troops automatically defending base during attack) during a defense. The only way a player would be able to use their spells for defense is if they are live viewing their attacker attacking their base. Otherwise, nothing happens(just as it is currently). For example: I make my spells---in this case 3 lightning---and when I get attacked, I can strategically drop these lightnings on the attacking troops and hinder their progress. Or even a Heal Spell, maybe to heal my defending troops or possibly buildings?

    WHY? I feel that this would encourage people to always make Spells(more activity and resource spending), it would promote constant gameplay(people would love to be always online and fend off would be looters) and lastly its an amazing function---who wouldn't want to command these spells on an ATTACKER?? Imagine dropping lightning on a group of archers and BOOM! all gone.

    THOUGHTS????

    So I can spam lightning an enemy army... Can you imagine the effects of low lvl TH? Never win again.

    Live replays aren't actually "live". So they are more like slightly delayed replay. So hero abilities and spells have no point during a defense.

    ABSOLUTELY ZERO NEED FOR THIS.

    Well you can make however many spells your lab can hold...it will not be as devastating to the attacker as you think. First of all, you need to be on to defend with your spells---so it won't be often that you'll encounter Defending Spells while looting someone. Also, we are grouped by THs so there won't be a significant amount of low levels attacking high levels. Lastly, the Lightning spell will take out a small group of troops, not necessarily a BK, Giants, Golem, etc.

    Not being live will be the biggest issue...I feel it would be a highly fun and necessary(for some) option though.

    Fine, try this. My name is Joe, I have no life. I spend my entire life watching my phone for a raid. I have a TH10, and 5 freeze spells made. Troops get in range of inferno tower and BOOM, there frozen. Then they die...
    (This is all fictional, my name is not Joe, and I do have a life.)

    Or try this Joe, you can spend your entire life upgrading buildings, tending resources, attacking bases, and chatting on global....then when you have a few minutes to take a break, head over to the forum and post there.

    What Joe does with his life is none of my concern...I feel this idea provides a great enhancement. Maybe I need to fine tune it to make it more appealing.

    Doesn't even remotely answer my concern of a freeze spell spam if this is implemented, or a rage spell spam on defenses, or a jump... actually jump spells wouldn't do anything, but a heal spell spam also would be bad.

    Absolutely correct...Jump spell would not be useful. However, you make a good point with your Freeze spell. It would be great to use it near an inferno, or tesla, or archer tower, or cannon, or heck even a BK...they would all kill attacking troops----which was the point. Furthermore, the Rage and Heal would be quite useful...I'll let your imagination run wild with the possibilities and Rage and Heal could do.

    So yes, the Jump spell is entirely not useful....similar to attacking a base with all wall breakers. Users would just have to be smart enough to know that the Jump spell would be no help.
