Please Lose the Timeout in Clan Mail

Well the first two guys tell me off without reading past the title! I think that answers the question, if two people on a forum (that exists to trade ideas in writing) can't be ♥♥♥♥♥ to read more than one line, I've got no chance trying to get a message across to people who are trying to play Clash!

I take the points about writing faster and writing beforehand but it would seem to me that these are unnecessary hassles for a relatively simple fix.
Not a sexy request like Taverns or Dark Assassins I grant you but there it is :-)

Then I apologise for implying that you didn't. I just thought it was funny that I was asking for something to improve communication and the first two replies completely misunderstood me. No offence meant :-)

As someone who was not confused with the title or the OP's idea, I agree wholeheartedly.

I don't understand why the act of typing is not considered activity. I have been kicked out of game multiple times because of this, mainly because if you make ONE typo, especially at the beginning of the text, you have to delete everything and start over.

Simple solution would be for the app to accept typing into clan mail as activity.

Should be easy and possible, as I believe chatting in Global or Clan chat doesn't disconnect you. Should be no different to detect activity from typing between Global Chat and writing a Clan Mail.

I honestly don't think it is an intended feature. I think you run out of time simply as a side effect of the game mechanics. While you are writing you are technically working outside the game ie in a pop up window, so the inactivity timer starts. I would just like writing clan mails and clan descriptions to be a part of the game so slow old farts like myself can take our time with messaging ;-)

My clan of it needs to take up two clan mails I will send one and immediately following that a Co leader will send the 2nd one. Simple as that.

Yes that would get over any problems with the length of the message. Provining your co says what you want him to of course ;-)
However, don't you think it would be better if little problems like this were simply ironed out rather than having to improvise workarounds for them. I don't want to be writing messages in notepad and counting the words or emailing a co leader the other half of a message or any of that. The interface just needs to be a little more user friendly in my opinion.

The same problem exists with writing to supercell support. I was responding to lies in a canned response (not sure why I did this) just so I could receive another canned response.

That's never happened to me before. Write it down first, brainstorm, then go to clash and send out the mail. No feature needed 🙌🏻
