Hi folks! Just hit TH9 a couple of days ago, and it's kinda rough at first. Spells are offline so I'm just BAM-ing through the lows of Gold 3, kinda awkward since I was more used to using GiBarch+Heals. And I love the AQ, she's been great so far, always sniping the loot. And looking forward to using some great forum bases after my X-Bows are done.

sick man thanks for sharing. i read a thread on here saying someone was having an unpleasant time with th9. they didn't really go into detail on why but this post makes me feel optimistic. i wanna go the 8.5 way too

I read and posted in that thread as well. I'm not sure I believe that guy anyway. He said he has an almost max TH10 as his main account and the new TH9 is his mini but he didn't really tell us much of anything and was even asking me if he should gem his AQ to lvl5 to help. Just didn't add up.

My air sweeper is going to 5 and I have 1 small bomb left to upgrade.
Other than that, max defense

King going to 19 and queen is 20

About 4-5 months I'd say. I slowed down a lot towards the end because I noticed defenses weren't keeping up at all. I was a rusher

Lvl 96, not much town hall 9 stuff yet but my second level two xbow finished this morning. Looking to finish that last tesla to six and archer tower to ten and finally work on the good stuff!! Hurried up and got level six drills as soon as I could and MAN they make a difference. Both heroes to ten in three days so and my clan castle finishes to five tonight.

been th9 for a day and 23 hours now. currently have queen going to 4, two camps upgrading, and of course spell factory and lab. i'm kind of at a fork in the road right now and not really sure what to prioritize.

as soon as my spell and lab finish up i want to straight away get the other two camps done. after that though i'm thinking i'll upgrade one de drill and one dark barracks. but that path (the quicker path) will leave no builders for walls. should i take the slower path and just upgrade DE drill/dark barracks one at a time and leave one builder on walls? in simpler terms (after spell factory and lab are finished):

builder 1: queen
builder 2: camp (will have 1 day and 15 hours left at the time spell factory and lab are done)
builder 3: camp (will have 12 hours left at the time ... " ")
builder 4: camp (straightaway; will have 5 days on this)
builder 5: camp (straightaway; ... " ")

and transition into this.... (after builder 2 & 3 are done with those camps) --> quicker path

builder 1: queen (that's a given)
builder 2: dark barracks
builder 3: de drill
builder 4: camp (will be still upgrading at this time)
builder 5: camp (will ... " ")

OR is this better --> slower path

builder 1: queen
builder 2: dark barracks/de drill (not sure what to prioritize) and then once this builder is off, dark barracks/de drill (determined by what i upgraded first)
builder 3: designate this builder for walls
builder 4: camp
builder 5: camp

i hope that's easy to understand, i've had a long MF'ing week. thanks in advance

for my first troop upgrade i opted for barbs. i barch a lot so i figured i could get some value out of them as soon as they're done. i have three days left on barbs, and my dark rax upgrade for witches completes in two days. i have my queen up to 7 currently and have 35,000 DE saved up. should i wait to upgrade witches and immediately get them to level 2 or get my queen to level 8 and farm elixir for bloons as an alternative?
