Not saying i don't like the idea, but 70% would be really too much, therefore there is the donation refound already .

Try not donating troops to the CC and see what happens.

They contribute to the win. That's your benefit for donating.

You are not required to donate expensive troops, or any at all. How much you are willing to put in should be based on your willingness to have a greater chance at winning - nothing else.

If your intestinal fortitude is not strong enough to absorb the costs of war troop donations - why should you get a better chance at winning?

I don't think this would influence more people to donate to war cc's. My experience is that it's not the cost that stops people from donating, but rather, many people (in my clan at least) farm with different troops than are requested in war cc's so they simply don't donate to them. We have about 7 people who consistently donate for defensive war cc's and that works fine, but if you're finding that cc's aren't being filled, simply do a few wiz and rest archers or even all archers. Very cheap and rather effective.
