Here is my Town Hall 8 base layout, I am going to try and max out TH8 before moving onto TH9 but do you think there are any improvements to be made to this base as it is?

absolutely do not move to th9 until you have at least all lvl 7 walls and near half lvl 8 walls. Or just grind like i did and max it out. Only took me a week and a half to farm 225 black walls
i realy love this base. the cc is in a great place and everything is well placed but i think that a good th8 can always 3* other th8 so its not perfect. thats awesome that you want to max ur th8 and it will help you in the future
Looking good but as leckman already mentioned, get those walls up ASAP!
Raid more, your walls are lagging.
Max those air defenses at lvl6, if you want any war clan that doesn't suck to even consider accepting you.
Layout is okay, I'd put the third giant bomb inside though.

try putting the spring traps inside the walls along the outer rings where the point defense is to funnel the giants.
Wrong subforum, but decent layout - spread the ad throughout the base, ok use of funneling

I don't care about how long it takes me, I'm a bit of a perfectionist and have 100% maxed out every town hall before this so I don't mind waiting a few extra weeks just to max everything out.
i like the base set up. id give it an 8/10. Just get those walls up
