Yes for farming, no for pushing.
Exactly correct,except in my opinion it works good for pushing. Just make sure to keep troops constantly training in barracks when you can. When you get really high in trophys it does not work too well.Originally Posted by facescraper

For pushing, it works if you play your cards right.
It works great for farming, though it can get boring. Personally I think it is terrible for trophy pushing. Once you get around G1/C3 it becomes a lot harder to find bases that you can do more than 1 star with barch, and if you miss it at 48% you will have to hit 5 more bases just to regain the lost trophies.
Depends where you are on the game. But a good farm strat until the later later levels.

Like everyone else is saying, its great for farming but not so fun for pushing unless you like searching one hour for a snipe or losing 30 trophies at 49 percent.
Th9's can push with barch up to low M if they are competent, but they'd need heroes. Bring lit spell if you are at 49% and zap a builders hut or altar. I farm in M1 with gibarch and cc golem. I farm about 70-80k de a day, and was able to max my AQ, and got BK to lvl 36.

It works well for both.
Farming - Cheap, fast, effective for pump farming, unless they have a Trophy/War base that hastorages outside.
Pushing - If you snipe and can find a good base to get just 50% from outside objects, you can save some time by getting just the 50%, ending battle and onto the next one.
