Even if your clan is losing a war it's still worth attacking, you can get war stars for your achievement, I am only elder in our clan so I don't make decisions about clan war, but our leader only called off a war once when everyone in the other clan had attacked within the first 30 minutes and we were losing 38-5 or 38-3 or something like that.

If the wars become mathematically impossible to win our clan will declare an open board where people are allowed to attack whichever base they want as long as they use a proper war army and get both attacks in.

As long as it is still mathematically possible to win people are expected to work with the clan to optimize stars.

Agreed - We do this if it is our win or theirs - Get some stars, unlock some clan achievements and get some practice. This is war so go out there and fight!

I used to be in a clan and of a mind to never give in. With that clan and all having the same mentality we even managed to pull back some great wins and often punched well above our weight. But that way only works if you have a team of great players, if more than a couple are just average then it's better to just give up and hope for an easier match next time imo. A lot less stressful than trying to get blood out of a stone.
